Sometimes you just have to burn the card fate dealt you.

Holy shit, I though you meant in real life, like, he'd turned up in Rugeley and introduced himself down the local.

Christ no, he'd never make it past the guards in the watch towers on the perimeter wall.

I will d/l and have a look when I'm back on a pc later.

First book I remember buying with my own money was one of those when I was in junior school. 'Warlock of Firetop Mountain" still remember it vividly. It is probably responsible for a lot..

You might take look at http://www.choiceofgames.com/category/our-games/ and some of their other games Pam (They even submit to Nano and Writopia). I would suggest you take a look at The Vampire game, they have some awesome writers over there. I could delude you with a wall of text, but it is better to see for yourself.

Checked it out as far I could go. I think I went down the slightly evil path. Totally by accident of course...

Reminds me of those old Jackson/Livingstone books. Looks like fun to write.

You following an evil path, heavens forbid! So scandalous! I have the whole thing completely mapped out, I just have to get back to writing it out. As the game progresses you will have more chances to diverge onto darker paths, by accident of course! You will be given a few opportunities to break away from the narrative, but that might not be the wisest decision but it will be possible.

I sigh sometimes looking at the scope of it but I am up the the challenge; what I done so far is around 10k in words, and each segment will be roughly the same size. There is 10 segments planned for the first chapter alone o.0. Romance, adventure, treasure, and more awaits (that is if I stop slacking off lol).

But for you Castamir my friend this should be up your alley: http://www.choiceofgames.com/broadsides/

Arg you lubber!

Already done that one! It's good, someone who knows their stuff wrote it because it's pretty accurate. Unless they just read a shitload of Hornblower.... Either way, quite good.
