STARSAPPHIRE DYNAMIS RULES

Contents:

1. General Rules
2. Preperations for Dynamis

(Edit 5/25/10: All new members will receive 6 points to get started with this is simply to show good faith that you will not have to wait forever to lot Northland/Cop gear)

1. General Rules

Please arrive at the location of Dynamis at the posted gather time. This allows leaders to go over important strategy points as well as get job assignments and lotting priority straight. If you arrive late and cause a delay you will not be allowed to lot that run.

Offensive Language and/or behavior is not acceptable! Please remember that this is a game meant to be fun for everyone. Your first offense will be a warning, Your second offense will be expulsion from the Linkshell.

If you are asked to change job to another more neccesary job for that run and you do not you can no longer lot that job's AF2 with our Linkshell.

/assist People will be assigned every run. You are not to attack any mob without using /assist Selector. If you are found "soloing" Mobs you will not receive a point for the run.

At the start of every run Everyone type /autotarget off, this prevents you from changing target when a mob not chosen by the Selector attacks you.

All members must Bazaar Perpetual Hourglass at 1 gil. This is to ensure that late dropping currency and AF2 are not "lost". It does so by allowing leaders to buy your glass if you are dead, AFK or can not pass for for any other reason thus removing you from Dynamis. If found without Glass in Bazaar you may not receive a point for the run.

If You leave early from a run without /telling a Leader with a an excuse we find valid prior to said run you will not receive a point.

If you do not announce AFK in caps twice in /party when you go AFK you will not receive a point for the run. It should look like this or something else that people can't miss:
************AFK************
************AFK************
If you feel someone has been AFK for an extended period please /tell a leader and if they do not respond to us they will lose their point for the run.

2. Preparations for Dynamis:

Job Responsibilities:

Black Mage's: Will be responsible for killing Statues, Slimes, Scorpions and many of the Beastmen NM's which it is not advisable to be close to.

Red Mage's: Will be the main sleeper's. Your first priority will be to sleep everything.

Paladin: Main responsibility, keep the Red Mage's alive. Provoke all sleeping mobs.

Bard: Sleep Dark based mobs like Slimes. Assist Red Mage's with main sleeping and keep your party buffed best you can.

Summoner: Main heal in a Melee party. Buff or DD BP's at your discretion.

Melee: Kill mob chosen by Selector. As well Provoke any mob you see attacking a mage's.

White Mage's and Scholar's: Healing Priority for Dynamis: Red Mage's >> Paladin >> Black Mage's >> Melee. (Note: Don't bother healing people screwing around or not bring proper sub jobs.)

Subjob:

Black Mage's: White mage or Red mage. Please coordinate with other BlM's for an equal mix.

White Mage's: Black mage or Red mage acceptable. (SCH also now)

Red Mage's: Black Mage only, with the exception of COP and Dynamis Xarcabard where RDM/DRK is of key importance.

Summoner: White Mage only.

Bard: White Mage preferred or Black Mage for ES elegy when needed, Red mage also acceptable.

Paladin: Warrior only.

Dark Knight: Warrior, Ninja, Thief or Samaria

Ninja: Warrior, Black Mage or Thief. Your Subjob will be defined by what job you are doing that session. Warrior > Melee, Black Mage > Kiting Stats, Thief > Pulling. (Note: For the most part don't bother bringing unless told by leader's.)

Samurai: Warrior, Thief, Ninja

Dragoon: Warrior preferred, ninja, Samaria, or White Mage acceptable.

Beastmaster: Warrior preferred, White Mage and Ninja acceptable. (Note: For the most part don't bother bringing unless told by leader's.)

Thief: Ninja preferred Warrior acceptable.

Monk: Warrior, Ninja

Warrior: Ninja-Axes or Thief/Samaria-G.Axe.

Ranger: Ninja preferred Warrior/Samaria at your own risk.

Note: /Nin will be suggested for any job if you are selecting.

Meds:
Standard Meds (for every run):
Re-raise Item.
Echo Drops (for all casters, PLD, NIN, and /NIN included especially important in Windy where BST pets spam silenga).

Jueno and Windurst:
Poison Potions (Goblin NM's in Jueno can Sleepga with Dice roll, Manifest Stats in Windy are BLM's and often cast Sleepga).

Windurst:
Holy Water (Yagudo NM's can Doom you, this will improve your chance of survival).

Northlands:
All above meds as we will encounter all these effects.
Also be prepared to bring Opo-opo Necklace and Sleep pots in case of Attestation run or Dynamis Lord run.
Poison pots are a must for Dynamis - Xarcabard

Bubrimu:
Antidotes along with Standard meds.

Valkurm:
Poison potions along with antidotes Very important if we do Sheep's they spam AoE Sleep song.

If You Do Not Come Prepared You WILL NOT Receive a Point.

One final note, in StarSapphire I hold preparedness, and giving 90%+ effort in very high regard. People who have good attendance, are well prepared and put forth the effort at all times, will receive more credit than those who do not.

Another rule pertaining to recruitment:

During very low attendance periods, points will be issued to people who make significant recruitment contributions, if you are able to recruit more than 4 or 5 people you will receive certain amount of points per recruited member, recruitment points only applies at certain times, and you will need to talk to Brono or Devon to authorize people's participation so that we can ensure people aren't just recruiting phantom members for additional points.
