Star Wars The Clone Wars; Contains a bit of Episode III spoilers

I originally thought Clone Wars would not really affect the story of the movies just like all the Expanded Universe stuff. Well, Clone Wars wasn't really Expanded Universe at all. It was created by Lucasfilm to tell the story between Episodes II and III. So far there have been twenty ten-minute episodes of Clone Wars. Whether or not they will be continued is beyond my knowledge.

SPOILER TIME

There is a strange warrior leading the Confederacy's droid armies. He is essientally a Jedi-killer. He appears to be a droid but his eyes suggest otherwise. He is an unknown (to me anyway) species of alien that is even more machine than Darth Vader himself. I dunno where the technology of his enhancements came from but its extrordinary. He is fast as lightning, hard as stone, and powerful enough to slaughter a small group of relatively well experienced Jedi Knights by himself. Upon doing so he takes and uses their lightsabers. Weilding more than two lightsabers at a time. His name escapes me sometime but I think it is General Dunra. He is a key villain in Episode III. Only an extremely powerful Jedi can stop his terror. That narrows it down, don't it ? ;)

Geesh! What is it with you and spoilers? So is that a dude in the cartoon that you were talking about or this character is actually in episode III?

Uh-huh . . . both, actually. He was in the cartoon and will be in the movie as I said. I put a spoiler warning. Sorry, I just like spoilers. :)

Have you watched them yet ? I doesn't take long. :D I feel really silly when I read the first post of this thread up above. I thought his name was Dunra. That is a name from Star Wars but obviously not the correct name for the general. We all know now that his name is General Grievous and that he can use not only three but four lightsabers. We also know that they already did continue the series for five more extended length chapters. Now I'm confused, I know someone's name in Star Wars is General Dunra, but I don't know who. Anybody ?

It's the rebel guy on the stretcher in Galactic Battlegrounds, isn't it? Or is it some other Rebel General? I read that too and thought it was funny. ^_^

I've watched about half of it last night, it just came yesterday. It also has lots of really cool bonus materials on it like a Xbox game demo of Republic Comando and an Episode III trailer!
