I got this game last week. It is pretty crazy. for the most part it is pretty kewl. But there are some things I hate. Like how all the other Jedi's give you crap whenever you meet one... (although that is rare, including you there are like 10) And lightsabers are much more scarce this time... I have almost 20 hrs on my game and I only have found 2... The story is much deeper this time as well. It is also very addicting...

Wow, sounds great. I still haven't gotten the first one, I figure that I'll get it first and then get the second one so that I'm not lost in the story and because Kights of the Old Republic II is $50 and the first one is only $20.

Well, I have Knights of the old republic now, and it's extremely cool. I still haven't beat it though, never got around to finishing. I'm just wondering if I should get II now

I finally got this game and I'm not sure if I'd recomend it. I deffinitely recomend the first Knights of the Old Rebublic, and if you like the first one enough then you'd probably like II because it's pretty much a continuation with a new character/story(continuing in time from the first story) Just about everything is the same as far as the gameplay though: the controls are all the same and the navigations and movement and everything with a few improvements and helpful new tools.

I really haven't made it very far yet though: this game seems really long... How far did you ever make it Drybones? Did you finish the game?

KotOR is my favorite video game franchise, period. Though the first one was undoubtedly better than the second; The Sith Lords seemed somewhat rushed at some parts, and I hated Mira's voice. Actually... I just plain hated the Nar Shadaa part. > < You'd be hard pressed to find a bigger fan of Revan than moi.
Well, I liked KotOR II's choice of weapons and armor much more than the original. The Jedi robes in this one weren't all buttoned up and such, so that was more "realistic." And I love the viridian lightsaber blade. I would like the cyan blade if it didn't mess up on my computer. Reh.
If anybody has any questions at all on this series, I'm the guy to turn to. :yoda:

Oh yeah, I didn't make it very far in the second game before getting busy with other things. I need to go back and play it (I even have the guide for it now, which I haven't even looked at).

Ha nice(refers to the start guide), buying lotsa games at once can do that to someone. Not that that's a bad thing though :p.
