I think I'm gonna have a test on it.

Oh really, what are the questions like ? Are they about recalling part of the story or those stupid things like "What do you think think the author meant by (some weird phrase) in (part of the book) ?" I hate those. > <

Yeah, I think there's gonna be both the "recalling parts of the story" and the stupid questions. I have those on a lot of my English tests... 0_o

Have you seen the LOTR movies ? I saw all the movies before I read all the books. I made it more interesting I think because you had a better idea of the appearance of things in the book. Although, Tolkien was excellent at describing his strange world. The movies are good, I wish they would make a movie of The Hobbit. Return of the King won eight, nine, or ten academy awards, I think, maybe eleven. A lot of the areas in The Hobbit are revisited in The Lord of the Rings. There's the Shire, the wilderness, Rivendell, and the Misty Mountains. Frodo's journey began along roughly the same path as Bilbo's adventure but it took a different turn at the mountains. You better shut me up or I'll spoil the book for you. ^_^

Yeah, they're great. In case you'd like to know they're rated PG-13 for violence and scary images. Believe it or not there is absolutely NO cussing, sensuality, or anything else. I couldn't believe that. The violence is pretty intense at times. Its mainly the ugly stuff getting chopped up, though. Some of them look better without their head, anyway. The scary images would be the ugly faces of the Orcs, Goblins, Uruk-Hai, Balrog, and (if you watch the extended edition) Sauron's lieutenent. I definitely would recommend watching the extended editions. Only problem is, watching the movies can take about as much time as reading one of the books. Each movie is roughly three and a half hours, over four if its extended. That might actually slow you down from reading more than its worth. ^_^

Huh ? No I didn't, I meant cussing. Cussing and cursing are the same thing. :/ Doesn't matter. ^_^ Okay then, there is absolutely no cursing.

There are giant spiders in The Hobbit, too. Why do you think the chapter is called Flies and Spiders ? However, I'm talking about Shelob, the horrible spider that is about the size of an elephant. She gets her butt kicked, though. I usually skip past that part. Oh yeah, the Army of the Dead is kind of ugly, too. ^_^ I'm not making this sound too good, am I ? :worried:
