I beat the campaign mode which is called "Rise of the Empire" and boy was it ever awesome! Tons of fun! It explains some more Star Wars mysteries just like some other games have done. *SPOILER ALERT* *If you want to play through everything by yourself to find out, then don't read further* You are the 501st, one of the many clone armies. The 501st is a special group though, they're the best. Whenever help is needed the Republic (and the Empire, which is why the campaign is so cool, but I'll get to that) sends in the 501st. The story of everything that happened is told by a reminiscint clone of the 501st who obviously survived the whole ordeal, voiced by none other than Temuera Morrison (I hope I spelled his name right). For starters, the 501st is sent to aid the Republic on hostile speratists planets seen in Episode III. First, you are sent to help Ki-Adi-Mundi on Mygeeto. Then help Aalya Secura on Felucia. Fight Seperatists space battles. Aid Yoda's forces and the wookies on Kashyyk. Fight space battles with Seperatists over Utapau. Help Obi-Wan on Utapau (and you have to kill Grievous). Fight space battles with Seperatists over Utapau. You get to play as the leading jedi if you so choose, btw. AND THEN, it happens, you and the rest of the 501st must carry out order 66. The 501st is sent to Coruscant to eliminate the Jedi at the Jedi Temple under the command of Lord Vader. Now, you're transformed into Stormtroopers for the empire and you are sent on many missions to destroy Imperial opposition on various planets. The leaders of the Empire think that it's not very wise to have all their soldiers made by the same mold so they started using more troops for Stormtroopers than just the original Jango Fett clones. As the narrarator puts it, "those new guys never did fit in." In another Mission, when you are still using clones, you have to fight against your own brethren on Kamino because the Kaminoins are using their clones against the empire. Led by Boba Fett, you have to fight throught the clones on Kamino and get a DNA sample to return to the imperial ship (why not just get a DNA sample from Boba :eggman: ). The formerly peaceful Naboo doesn't fall beneath the Empire, led by their Queen, so you have to storm their capital city as imperial stormtroopers, Theed, take command of the city and then hunt down and kill the Queen. A new sepratist leader arises on Mustafar, reactivating some abandoned droids and making plans to use factories there to make a new type of battle droid, so you must whipe them out and assasinate him. Then, the rebellion rises to pose a new opposition. Aboard the brand new Death Star, the 501st is positioned as gaurds. The narrarator is very bored with this, as nothing interesting ever happens when gaurding the imperial space station, until there is a prison break in the detention area! (no, we haven't made it that far yet) 100's of rebel prisoners have broken out of their cells and taken over the detention area. You have to stop them, retake the detention area, and then retake a hangar that they are trying to escape through. Then the 501st is sent out to retrieve stolen Death Star plans that are supposedly on Polis Masa. You go there, take the place over, and find that the plans weren't there after all, they are actually on a Rebel Blockade Runner from Alderan with Princess Leia of Alderan. As if you haven't had tons of fun already, now the fun really begins :D . You take over the rebel blockade runner (and boy are there ever tons of rebels aboard  ) just like in Episode IV. Slicing through rebel soldiers left and right as Darth Vader is easy. At the end of the mission you have to find Leia and take her hostage. Half of the 501st dies when the Death Star blows up. You have to take your anger out on the rebel Yavin base, killing the rebel leaders. Afterwards, you head for the skies where you have to stop the rebel fleet from escaping. Next, it's time to shine, what's left of the 501st have been at it for over 20 years now, but they're still some of the guys sent to squash what's left of the Rebelion on Hoth. After defeating the Rebels on Hoth, you win! You've restored peace to the galaxy under the Empire! (but we all know it's for a limited time only ;) ). I hope you all enjoyed my summary there, 'cause it took me too long to write  . |

Wow ! 0_o That's awesome. :D It's rare that we get such a long post from you. ^_^ Those missions sound pretty darn cool. B) I have got to play it. > < I skimmed through the player's guide in Target the other day and noticed some of the new units such as Bothan spies for the Rebel Alliance. So what about the multiplayer ? Have you been playing online some, too ? I'm sure some people get the game just for the online multiplayer because that was true for The Lord of the Rings : The Battle for Middle-earth. I couldn't believe some people have never even played the campaigns. Anyway, what kind of multiplayer battles are there ? Anything special or new ? Oh yeah, and a question about Grievous. Does he always have four lightsabers or can he switch from two to four. I know in Star Wars Episode III : Revenge of the Sith for GBA and DS he only has two when you fight him (I'm thinking of fixing that in a sprite sheet), and the X Box and PS2 version he can switch to four lightsabers but there's a limit to it when yo're playing as him (a time limit really). In Lego Star Wars he always has four when he has them out. So what's the deal with him in SW BF II ? |

I'm pretty sure that he always has four, and yes, it's all about the multiplayer. I've gotta play online some more  . You can play the regular old conquest, hunt, assualt (space battles), assualt (heroes only; ground), and two different capture the flags. I'm pretty sure that's all, but I may have forgotten something. |
