Well, I've got to get to bed because I have a long day of work ahead of me tomorrow, but the game is very cool. I'll try to tell more about it in the morning. Old Ben Kenobi rocks in this game! B)

Okay. First of all, I can see that this game might get repetitive after a while in terms of the land battles. That is, after you've explored every map and been playing online for a while. However, land battles are only one third of the gameplay, and you can have fun with heroes in land battles for a long time before that gets old. Space battles are awesome! There's probably more strategy involved with them than in land battles and heroes still own the game. The galaxy itself is pretty danged big. There's a few moons, and asteroid field or two, and more planets than you would believe, including most of those seen in the Star Wars Saga, Knights of the Old Republic, and Jedi Knight series. There are two main story campaigns to bridge the gap between the trilogies as either the Rebel Alliance or the Galactic Empire, many more minor campaigns to keep you busy, and a skirmish mode where you can jump right into a battle and do things the classic RTS way. The game is just set up very well and everything is as it should be. I didn't really think about it before, but having Jedi just whack away at the bottom of a building with their lightsaber to destroy it was pretty silly. Now Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, and possibly Luke simply put their hand out and shake the building to pieces with the Force. Very cool. Boba Fett is just as tough as he should be two with his rapid-firing blaster to take down enemy troops, flamethrower to cause serious damage to vehicle and buildings, and jetpack for a quick getaway. The Slave I is pretty awesome, too. Nothing like in the Rogue Squadron series and it has seismic charges. Well, I'm not sure what else to say. I could go on and on about it for a long time. Any questions?
