mine is in episode 3, when obei wan delivers the final blow to anakin (its really not the final blow cause he survives) and cuts off his legs. I also loved the part in episode 4, where darth vader says "luke I am your father". Whats yours? |

Hey, cool thread and it's nice to see you here. That line is in episode V, not IV, just to remind you. Now, a favorite Star Wars moment... There's certainly plenty of favorites to choose from. I've got tons of favorite lines, but an altogether moment... Ah, I'll just throw one out now and come back with some more later because I can see this thread going on for a while. I really like it when Vader tells Boba Fett "no desentegrations." That's great! Another one of my all time favorite moments has to be when Yoda faces off with the Emperor. |

YAY ! ! BOMBOM1 has returned ! Nice thread, let me think of some of my favorite moments. SW I : When QUi-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jar Jar Binks, Captain Panaka, and Queen Amidala and her handmaidens are trying to leave Naboo by getting to her Royal Starship in the hangar. They are confronted by the commander Battle Droid and Qui-Gon speaks with him. Commander Droid : Halt ! Qui-Gon Jinn : I'm an ambassador for the supreme chancellor, I'm taking these people to Coruscant. Commander Droid : Where are you taking them ? Qui-Gon Jinn : To Coruscant. Commander Droid : Coruscant ? That doesn't compute . . . uh, wait . . . uh . . . YOU'RE UNDER ARREST ! Those are the droid's last words as Qui-Gon responds by slicing through the droid with his lightsaber. SW II : When Padme tell Anakin that she truly, deeply loves him before they enter the arena. JUST KIDDING ! That's one of the worst lines in the entire saga. SW II : Yoda's fight with his former apprentice, Count Dooku. Its just awesome ! SW III : Obi-Wan's fight with General Grievous and when the clone army arrives. General Grievous : Army or not, you must realize you're doomed ! Obi-Wan Kenobi : Oh, I don't think so. Obi-Wan then sends the cyborg general crashing upward into something hanging from the ceiling with the Force. SW IV : Difficult to say, Han is cool. I think my favorite moment would have to be Han Solo blasting Greedo and then flipping the bartender a coin. Han Solo : Sorry about the mess. SW V : Maybe Luke's duel with Darth Vader. That was like the first duel where we see that Vader is totally in control of the outcome. It gives you a better sense of his power. Luke never had a chance but Vader didn't want to kill him because Luke was his son and he was going to bring him to Emperor Palpatine alive. This causes him trouble twice, though. Once when he's flinging junk at Luke and accidentally hits the window and nearly gets sucked out the window himself. Then again when he has Luke pinned and Luke is able to jump back up because of Vader's hesitance to harm his son and delivers a painful blow to Vader's shoulder. As BOMBOM1 said, the duel has the perfect ending when the truth is revealed about Luke's father. SW VI : Definitely the victory celebration as it appears on the DVD. I especially love how Naboo is also featured in it to tie the two trilogies together. I just wish Anakin's ghost hadn't been changed. |

I dunno about you guys, but I really liked that twin sunset at the end of Revenge of the Sith. I don't really know why. And I thought it was funny when, after Anakin crash landed the Invisible Hand at the end of the battle of Coruscant, Obi-Wan said, "Another happy landing." |

I think the dialogue as they begin their duel is possibly the best in all the movies. Obi-Wan is so cool. Welcome aboard, by the way. |
