I did end up downloading Ys, and it's an excellent VC title and I recommend it to anyone after they complete SMRPG :p, or if you're not getting SMRPG, get Ys ^_^.

I sold Phantom Hourglass. It brought out the worst in me... I picked up a used copy of FF4 DS and Beyond good and Evil for Ps2.

Though I forgot Dq4 was coming out.... I have 7 days to charge through FF4 then I can return it for full price!

I've thought about doing that free 7 day rental before, I just have too many of my own games to beat/play through before "renting" anything

Its harder to do then I thought. I am just not into FF4... Maybe I should play a RECENT FF game... The only one of the older ones I actually got into was 6...

I personally like the older ones a bit more, though I still enjoy Final Fantasy VIII. Final Fantasy X is fun too but way too linear. I haven't touched XII yet though XD, it's still in shrink wrap(waiting to beat X first >_>).

Phantom Hourglass brought out the worst in you? Eh? Ohh kay. Anyway, my recent purchases of the gaming variety were, of course, Super Mario RPG for Wii VC and Mega Man X8 for PC (downloaded from Game Stop). I've mostly been playing those two a lot. Super Mario RPG is great as always and Mega Man X8 is really great, too. I'll probably never be able to experience Mega Man X7, which many refer to as the one of the worst Mega Man games, as I don't have a PS2 and it's only available for PC in ... somewhere in Europe or something, or so I read. As I was saying though, I'm very pleased with Mega Man X8 ($18 to download from Game Stop's website). I consider it one of the best of the X series, and probably one of the best Mega Man games. Kinda makes me wish they make another X game (it certainly set itself up for a sequel), but I guess if they did it might end up being 16-bit and have only X playable. LoL

Oh yeah, Axl rocks. Some people like him, some people hate him. I think he's cool, although probably not as cool as Zero, but hey, who is?

I hate Phantom Hourglass. Repetitive, easy, and lame characters. Which really lets me down cause Wind Waker was awesome!

I took my own advice and started FF12. And I like it, the game flows well and I like the battle system a lot.

I will probably just take back FF4 and put the money toward Kirby and Sonic.

Ah, well I agree with that partially. Going back to the Ocean Palace over and over to get a little further each time and then start over was kind of annoying, and yeah, the game was kind of easy. I liked a few of the characters, but I suppose there weren't near as many really cool and memorable characters as you usually get in a Zelda game, but still, I have fun with it. The plot seemed a little too much like Link's Awakening, though. Ever think one of the sea gulls you're always tempted to shoot might actually be someone who remembers Link? ;) (or at least one of the Links depending on how you view the timeline, you might have to beat Link's Awakening without dying to get that)

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
I hate the Temple of the Ocean King.

Otherwise it's a solid Zelda game. Not sure what makes it any easier than other Zelda games though. Zelda II was the only Zelda game I thought was notably hard.

That's a shame, it's great! Just because one person doesn't like it, and he has right to his own opinion, doesn't mean you won't like it.
