So, what's your latest video game purchase?

The only problem with the Dragon Quest series is that Akira Toriyama just isn't that great of an artist, and before long you feel like you've seen every character before in every other Dragon Warrior/Quest game and Dragonball Z episode.

I think I'm going to wait on Wii Points. I want Super Mario RPG, but I also want Tetris Party.

I probably won't play it soon since I'm working on FFV, VI, VIII, X, and XII, but do you think I should get a guide? Usually I'm not near the computer, and I'm currently running low on ink.

I have the guide, and the most useful part is the item synthesis. To get better weapons and armor, you need to fuse items together in an alchemy pot and I found the guide really useful for that. I got the BradyGames guide and I thought it was a good purchase.

Okay thanks ^_^, and funny you should mention that Rune, me and a friend JUST had that conversation XD. I related back also to Blue Dragon how the whole team looks almost exactly like a character from DB. . .I understand similar art styles, but similar character designs is a bit lazy and/or unimaginative.

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
The art style is another reason I love Dragon Quest.

Blasphemies! :p Anyway today I bought Dragon Quest VIII for PS2.

A brilliant purchase, my friend. That's one of my favorite games of all time.

Thats very true, Dq8 is really good. The second I turned it on I knew I would like it.

Yeah like the graphics in DQVIII looks nice, it's just the characters themselves DX.

BTW I think you will like FF12. I am really getting into it, even though I have only put in 7 or so hours. I love the battle system.

I've heard mixed reactions about FF12's gameplay. I'm sure I'll enjoy it, I just hope I can get to it someday XD. It's still in it's shrink wrap >_>.

Did you ever play KOTOR? If so, did you like the battle system? Their battle systems are pretty similar. (Well, on the outside anyway)
