I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
I got some Wii Points and downloaded Bust-A-Move Plus. I'll probably use the last 400 points for the DLC.

I guess the biggest disappointment is the lack of online play. :/

I, too, decided to add some Wii points to my system and picked up NyxQuest today. So far, I'm really liking the steady and somewhat puzzle-based platforming. My only gripe of any significant level about would be the zoomed out camera, but I think that's what works best for the game itself, since it has some level of depth to it. Plus, the game appears to be greatly designed, so being able to see more of the details is a plus.

300 blocks, though. OUCH! Thank goodness I still have 1000 blocks to work with after the download, but looking through some of the recent WiiWare games, they can fill up a system in a hurry. And I thought it was a little troublesome when I first downloaded Mega Man 9; that seems to be the exception at this point. :eggman:

Not at the point to recommend it or anything, but it's looking nice. :)

When watching videos the zoomed out camera was something I noticed as well. I might get this some time next month when I download the final FFIV chapter.

You know, I never actually played that one. I did try it out a friend's copy and wasn't too impressed. One thing that held me back were the awful load times. I'm wondering if the downloadable version is any quicker. I'm kind of doubting it though. I may download it one day too.

I heard if you install it and the download version shaves 2 or 3 seconds off the load times. If I can find the game cheap enough I'd like to get it just to say I tried it. I've found it for almost as much as it'd cost to rent it, so if when I'm ready to get it I can still get it that cheap I probably will.

Half-Life series sale on Steam, so I got Half-Life Blue Shift for only $1.69. Cool.

OK, I have taken a $20 bullet for you all BUT here is what I found from my tests. ARE YOU READY FOR THE RESULTS?

The load times in Sonic the hedgehog On Demand are roughly HALF AS LONG as they are when played with a disc! Thats right the On Demand version's load times are between 8-12 seconds. More accuratly when first starting a stage/adventure field its around 12 seconds, when moving to the next part of a stage (like Sonic's Mach Zone sections) its around 8. While the disc version (played right from the disc not installed on the 360 HDD) are between 18-22 seconds!

HOLY TAP DANCING JESUS thats a change!

XD I think it's funny we're still celebrating over those load times. But they are quite the improvement.
