Ugh I hate when they do that as well, I had similar problems in GTA IV like that. There were so many enemies, and it'd be impossible to know if there's enemies coming up until you enter the room, so you could enter the room and instantly get shot at, it'd be nice if it'd be easier to take cover, but typically its not.
Are the enemies in GTA 4 all eagle eyes too? In uncharted I can be behind cover and the enemies STILL manage to pick off Nate's elbow with incredible ease.

However the shotgun is really powerful. Not much ammo but its pretty much 1 hit kill :p

They're not exactly master marksmen but even if they're relatively far away and you have no cover it could potentially mean trouble for you.

I'm going out to pick that up right now.

edit: I went to several stores and nobody had the game in stock. Guess I'll try again later this week. I did manage to pick up Scribblenauts though.

Cool that you got Scribblenauts. You guys mind telling us how you like it?

It stinks that you couldn't find M&L though, the release date was yesterday.

Scribblenauts is pretty cool. One level had me trying to figure out how to get past a bee. I tried putting it up against a couple things like a beekeeper, flamethrower, and another bee. Flamethrower worked alright, but I ended up burning some of the stage. Turns out God is a good bee stopper.

Then I had to get past a piranha. I tried shark and that worked very well. Now I had the shark to worry about. A dolphin took care of that. Now I had a dolphin to worry about. I did what I should have done from the beginning and threw in a toaster.

And a few cool surprises I found out were typing things like time machine and teleporter. They take you to the future and the moon respectively.

Nice. Have you tried any crazy things not dealing with passing a level? Like pitting God against a kraken? :P
