The games were on a bonus disc. It should have the other added features of Subsistance though. Such as the new camera angle and what other updates it had. such as online play(though servers are probably no longer available) |

Well I just pulled a crazy one: I traded in my DSi, my PSP, and all my PSP games and accessories to get a new XL. With the trade in bonuses that I got, I had some trade cred leftover, but rather than get a new game now I'm just saving it to get SMG2. I was originally just going to pass on getting a XL, but one of the reasons that I decided to do this is my DSi had an annoying defect: it would randomly turn off while in use, usually only when given a strong jostle or just the right physical tap. The idea was given to me by Einar getting one and commenting on how great it was. Another reason was when spending much time making graphics in DIY a couple nights last week, I saw how beneficial the much larger screens would be. So I guess that was enough to sell me and now I have a DSi XL. Oh and yes I lost all my DSiWare, which stinks, but at least I didn't have a whole lot to lose. I may buy a couple of the ones that I really liked again on my XL (WW Snapped and maybe Mario Minis). At least it came with the Brain Age Express games and Photo Clock already installed to offset the loss a little bit (I may have rather just had points to spend though). I also got the Bronze. I haven't really used it for gaming yet, but I must say THIS THING IS HUGE! Edited by CHAOSGAMMA, May 2 2010, 02:51 PM.

Oh cool, it came w/ the photo clock? The photo clock is cool but nothing I'd spend money on. |

It's been a while since I've had anything to post here, but that being said, I downloaded Zombie Panic in Wonderland for WiiWare a couple of hours ago. As someone that doesn't really have a shooter (I have Metroid Prime 3, but it's not strictly a shooting game), Zombie Panic serves its purpose quite well in my collection. It's a simple game, but it's fun just shooting enemies and blowing things up. My only real gripe would be the game's length (6 levels and 3 bosses, unless there's something I've yet to unlock), but it's not too much of a problem for me. I know I still have characters to unlock, and the game itself is appealing enough to make me want to play it again down the road, especially if I manage to find someone else to play with. I'm already hoping a follow-up comes along down the road, as the game has some nice things going for it. |

I just saw Zombie Panic on Nintendo Week and it looks like a pretty fun game. I'll probably download it sometime this week. |

Yeah, it reminds me a lot of Sin and Punishment. Just not as complicated probably. |

Zombie Panic's not a rail-shooter, and you're never really progressing within the level, but since you're going from left to right attacking and dodging attacks, it does share some slight similarities to S&P I suppose. The objectives are different, as in ZP, you're required to eliminate a certain amount of enemies and scenery within a certain amount of time in order to be successful, and if you find yourself goofing off, chances are you're also going to be in a rush at the end of the time limit. In fact, I'm very pleased about the difficulty of this game as a whole. Even though you know what you have to do in each level, this isn't a game that pulls punches, even on normal difficulty. You have to learn how to manage the ammo of your more powerful weapons and understand when to use them if you expect success. In fact, I'm struggling to beat the game's bonus level, as it's not generous when it comes to giving out ammo, and you have to deal with swarm after swarm of foes to boot. I actually would encourage downloading this game for the most part. If you can come to terms that the game isn't very long from the outset, you can still get plenty of enjoyment out of it. It's a game that establishes itself quite well, and I actually hope Akaoni Studio can get the support it needs to expand on the formula. Last, but not least, I also have to give the game props for creating an awesome Snow White character. :eggman: Edited by Madmangamer364, May 3 2010, 09:20 PM.

I'm really interested in seeing Dorothy in the game XD. But thanks for the encouragement. . .I think I may very well get this game this week! I was considering getting Picross 3D but now I think I might go w/ some Wiiware titles. |

^Unfortunately, none of the characters play too differently, so their appeal really comes on mostly preference in design, story mode, etc. They do have different dodge animations, though, and from that angle, Dorothy probably has the smoothest looking one of the group. Heh, don't mention it. I'm not trying to force people into buying the game or anything, as that's something I'm simply not too fond of myself. I was just making the case that the game will probably prove worthwhile to those who give it a chance, provided that they're not expecting something too massive in scale. Get whatever you feel like getting the most, though. :) |
