I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
I'll get the first KH someday...and maybe KHII, I dunno. I should probably play CoM so I can make sense of II.

I don't think playing CoM is really all that necessary to understand II. Sure they have a lot of common and CoM introduces a lot of stuff thats in II, but its nothing a simple paragraph synopsis couldn't fix. Its a sidestory for a reason. I'd say 358/2 Days is more integral than CoM as far as making learning more about KHII.

I'm not sure if I want 358/2 Days. I've been kind of considering it lately. Maybe I'll get it when I have disposable income.

Tales of Vesperia finally shipped. That's the longest something has ever taken to ship for me. I'm starting to kind of regret choosing free shipping.

How long did it take? I hate when it takes a while for something to get shipped out. . .

I ordered it on Moday, so three days. Things usually ship on the next day.

This thread has gotten really freakin' huge. XD I can't keep up with it!

My latest purchase was the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on Steam which I have been enjoying thoroughly, although I'll admit it's a bit darker than I expected or care for, but that's not keeping from seeing the game for how truly awesome and well done it is.

I chose the soldier class initially since I'm new to the game and have played very few RPG titles that weren't either Mario or Pokemon (The Magic of Scheherazade comes to mind, but that all I can think of, I used to have it on my NES). I started out focusing my skills toward computer use but ended up going more toward persuasion and letting Mission handle the technical stuff. Now I'm sort of wishing I had put some points toward repair so I could work on HK-47, though. I love all the characters and their unique personalities and appearances. I thought Carth was really cool, but I've been ticking him off with everything I say lately? Is it possible to say something that doesn't set him off? Bastila sure was a jerk to begin with, but I'm glad to see her temperament improving somewhat. Mission, T3-M4, and Zaalbar are cool and HK-47 is hilarious. I'm a Jedi Guardian now using dual lightsabers, healing powers, and lightsaber throws (before I used dual vibroswords). I just got the second star map from Tatooine. I can definitely see myself wanting to play through this game multiple times for different experiences. If anybody's got any advice for me I'd greatly appreciate. I've got a Prime player's guide I've been using occasionally, but it's pretty vague on some things. For instance, I didn't know Taris was going to be blown up and that I'd never get another chance to collect the bounty I deserve for killing Bendak Starkiller in the arena. > <

You're giving yourself feats (I think it's feats...) for dual wielding melee weapons right? Trying to dual wield without the proper feats gives you penalties. Higher feats lower the penalties.

I can't really think of more advice to give though since it's been a long time since I really played this.

There's durn half-decayed (or half-eaten in some cases) corpses and limbs freakin' everywhere! XD Don't get me wrong, I don't mind dark games (depends on the definition of the word, I suppose), but that just strikes me as a little freaky. Heck, I'd rather they all be skeletons or otherwise than halfway in between. It doesn't really bother me. I just think somebody oughta do the decent thing and bury/cremate some of these people eventually so I don't have to tiptoe through the human remains all the time. LoL

Yeah, I've maxed out the dual weapon feat and have gotten others like flurry and critical strike for my main character.

I was about to say that I didn't remember all that, but yeah I think there were a lot of bodies and stuff in the sewers on Taris. Be sure to grab the loot from corpses you find. :wario:

I have, of course. That's another thing, though. Digging through the pockets of dead people for money, weapons, etc. and even stealing their undoubtedly maggot-ridden (or the current planet's parasitic species equivalent to a maggot) clothes right off their bodies? Nasty stuff, man. :X Still an awesome game, regardless though. :yoda:
