Have you played any BoD yet? I tried the demo and found it was pretty fun, but didn't play too much of it. Curious on what you think.

And yeah Bermuda, this holiday season is going to be PACKED with games, gonna be hard to save or only get one game per those months XD.

Ok, how about 2 games a month? I just found a coupon for $20 off Bioshock 2. I figure if I use coupons whenever possible, I can manage that.

I played a few minutes of the trial. I made it to the town and decided I'd buy it then so I stopped. It has a charm to it, kind of like Barkley Shut Up and Jam Gaiden. I'll play more of it today and try to give a better opinion.

Yeah that's how far I got as well, I was going to buy it but never got around to it, I'm pretty sure I have enough points for it too since Microsoft's point system was really sucky a few months ago.

MS points have grown on me. You can buy them in smaller increments than Wii points. If you want a 400 point game, then you can get 400 points, rather than having to get 1000 Wii points if you just want an NES game. And if you want a 1200 point game, then get 800 points, then 400, as opposed to having to get 2000 Wii points if you want a 1500 point game.

The prices of indie games do kind of mess it up though. If you just want an 80 point game, you'd need to get 400 points. This is why I think points shouldn't even exist.

Oh, and to prevent possible double posting, Tales of Vesperia will be getting here today. (Should be within the next hour)

So you bought points online? Another point you can add on to that is if you'd rather spend your points than save them for something you really want there are plenty of things available to buy at a wide range of prices such as dlc, music, movies, avatar items, gamer pics, themes, indie games, 360 games, original xbox games etc. I guess in a way your points hold more value because they can buy you a much wider variety of things whereas Nintendo points can only buy you downloadable games and that's it.

And I'm with ya Bermuda, I bought a whole bunch of games recently and I don't need to buy any more anytime soon. I think I'll be fine getting nothing else until Other M and then we'll see how dates are set for some of the aforementioned games after that (I definitely want to get Kirby and DKC when they come out). I might go back to GS and get the original Rock Band for a dollar-fifty before the sale ends though.

Yeah I bought them on the Xbox site. I feel more comfortable doing it there since I don't want my credit card info on the console.

Yeah I know, I was just stating my opinion since you brought it up.

Steam as well. Or anything that doesn't take Nintendo/Microsoft fun bucks really.

Yeah, I seriously don't see what the problem with just letting us having a shopping cart and a check out. Points are nice for people who don't use debit or credit cards, but yeah thats not the only option.
