I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
Einar sent me BioShock 2 (it and BS1 are on sale) on Steam. Thanks again dude!

Last weekend I found Bust-A-Move Universe for 3DS on Amazon for a mere $20(ten bucks cheaper) new so I decided to check it out. I heard it was an underwhelming title in the content department, but it sounded just right for $20. I'd say its worth it! I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Its my first Bust A Move title.

Portal 2 came today, I am pretty satisfied with the game thus far. Cept that the story is rather predictable. From what I have read I think I am about halfway through the game. Which is fine.

If you've never played a Jak game before you're in for a treat.

I absolutely love the first Jak game. Not so much the other games in the series though.

I've wanted to play it for a long time. Like Ratchet and Clank (until a year ago) it's one of those definitive PS2 games I missed out on. And yeah I heard the sequels weren't so hot. I liked the first R&C even though I haven't finished it yet, so I got the second one. I picked SMB2 because there wasn't really anything else to choose without spending more than I wanted to, and I had mild interest in trying it anyway.

I picked up, Sonic Colors DS at Gamestop. I also ordered Portal 2 from Amazon.
That's cool, how is it? I want to get it eventually (probably pretty soon actually, now I've got some other DS/3DS games to play first though).

And that's cool that you like Ridge Racer, I've heard good things about it. I love arcade style racers too, but I've never been a Ridge Racer fan. Really I just tried the DS launch game when there wasn't much to choose from (like now with the 3DS), didn't like it and dismissed the series...

I got Sonic Adventure on Xbox Live because it was 50% off and I had enough leftover points :) Also, I already mentioned it elsewhere, but when the 3DS came out I got PilotWings Resort

I know I said I would never buy another Lego game again, but I got Lego Pirates for 3DS. The game hasn't froze on me so that's definitely an improvement. There are still some long load times, but not as bad as LSW3. Lego Star Wars had some annoying touch screen mini games, but there's none of that in Pirates. I just don't feel comfortable taking out the stylus in the 3DS during some intense lightsaber fight.

So Pirates is an alright game. I don't think I care for the pirate duels. You just mash the B button to defend, then press a 3-button sequence to attack. These are very easy and are kind of slow so they get boring fast. And the cinematics don't look too good either. They're kind of dark and it looks like the videos were compressed too much. It's not a huge deal for me though. And once again, there is no multiplayer in this game. That's pretty disappointing. Other than those complaints, it's another Lego game. If you like the Pirates movies, and aren't too tired of the Lego formula, this is a good one. You might want to try a console version if you want multiplayer however.
