Ah, gotcha. That's what I get for not ever having Kingdom Hearts/a PS2. It seems like the prologues get longer with each Zelda game. I remember Twilight Princess having a pretty long one. Well, as long as there's enough of the game left after the prologue I don't mind, but if it's taking up a decent percentage of the entire adventure that would be annoying. It'd be like by the time you finally start it's almost over. I'm hoping this will be a pretty lengthy Zelda. I keep almost forgetting about it with work getting hectic, but I may get the game as early as tomorrow or probably no later than Friday. |

MOTOR GAMES ON CARDCYCLES
|
The Kotaku guy who reviewed the game says he beat it in 47 hours (with most of the sidequests, but not all), so I don't think you have anything to worry about. For reference, I'm about an hour and a half (or so) into the game and I just beat the prologue (I count "beating the prologue" as "Link getting his sword and green clothes and being able to go to the rest of the game world now"). |
What is this place / filled with so many reblogs~ | |

Sounds around the same length as TP's prologue I guess. It's been almost three years since I played the beginning part so maybe I'm wrong. Not sure what to think of the length. As much as I enjoyed TP, it got to the point where it felt like it was dragging and I kind of wanted it to end already. |

Got my copy of Sonic Generations for 3DS. I like it, in a lot of ways more then the console version. Mission mode is its own section of the game and its in menu form. You only get to start with a couple missions and unlock the rest via street pass and play coins. 100 missions in all, and like the console one beating them unlocks content like art, and music. When playing the main game, the levels are also in menu form, making it easier to navigate then the console one. Just pick a stage, then a Sonic and GO. And the only stage shared between the console and the 3DS version is Green Hill, after that its all new content. I won't spoil any of it though. What is interesting though, is the Classic Sonic stages even the 3D ones try to follow the original stages as close as possible! And the boss stages are much better! The last neat feature, or at least what I think is neat. Is you get to make your own street pass card. Pick a theme for the card itself, (you start with a Sonic 1 theme, and can unlock more) And pick how long you've been playing Sonic, favorite title, character and then on the back of the card check your in game stats. (Think a trainer card in pokemon, but in Sonic form) I really like the game, Like all Sonic games its short, in less then 2 hours I am at the modern stages, but like Mario 3D Land there is LOADS of content! Even an online racing mode! |

Sounds great! I'm really looking forward to this game more so than the console version as well. I got Skyward Sword with the Gold Wii Remote bundle, but like you guys mentioned I haven't gotten to play it yet either; I plan on starting tonight and having the holiday weekend to play :) |

Being a sucker for adventure games, I ended up buying the latest Indie Royale for the Blackwell Trilogy. |

Like I said I would, I bought Portal 2 since it's a daily deal. It's installing now and I can't wait to get to it! |

Not sure if I'm done with the sale but I think I've gotten just about everything I was considering. Besides Portal 2, I've gotten... Dark Sector from coal trading E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy Rise of the Triad from GOG The Heretic/Hexen pack Sonic Generations kindly gifted to me by Einar, and I sent him Beat Hazard Complete in return :) Resident Evil 5 from Gamma for the gift exchange Plus the unexpected Dragon Quest IX from Best Buy. I think this holiday season turned out well, even though my wallet and backlog are crying right now. |

I used a Wal Mart gift card I received for Christmas to order the Goldeneye bundle with the gold Classic Controller Pro and Oddjob shirt. I don't know how HMS managed to find it (searching for "goldeneye" only led me to the PS3/360 version) but thanks again for pointing it out. |
