I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
I've been giving into sales lately...

I finally bought Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin from a local store having a going of business sale. And just now I used my second (dunno how I got it but I'm not complaining) Amazon Prime trial to get Solatorobo really cheap with free shipping.

I have been so weak. :(

Please let me know how Solatorobo is!

I've been curious about it, but not brave enough to try it out yet. Dunno if its my cup of tea yet.

Solatorobo is pretty fun, but its only $13 on Amazon right now. For that price you can't really go wrong.

Amazon has been stepping up its game with sales. Just wait for the right time and you can get new games for cheap prices like Solatorobo. Its price was steadily going down for the past week or so, going from maybe $19 to $13. I've seen that happen with other games. Then the prices shoot back up. Just have to wait for that sweet spot before the price goes back up I guess.

EDIT: Of course, if I hadn't gotten free shipping it would've cost $18...

Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica X are both on sale on the PSN for roughly $10 each this week.

I've been wanting these two titles, but didn't want to plop down $20 for each. This was a good deal for me.

inFamous: Festival of Blood was also only $4 for PS+ members as well so I picked that up as well.

On that note, I'd also like to highly recommend PS+.

It's way better than Xbox Live. There are way more sales, and its not required to still get enjoyment out of the PSN. I've had PS+ since January(got three months for $20) and I've already gotten my money back in free games and discounts.

For example I've saved about $16 this week with RE4 and inFamous(Resident Evil Code Veronica X is on sale to everybody at that price) almost already paying for it. But I've also gotten a plethora of free games such as The Simpsons, Far Cry 2, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (I think I got it all right and in the proper order. . .), and about six Sega Genesis classics.

My membership expires this April but I fully plan on renewing it.

So yeah, if you play your PS3 often enough I recommend this service!

(Just a heads up for those who don't know: You only keep the free games as long as you have PS+, but you get to keep any game you purchase discounted obviously)

Was that RE sale for PS+ members, or everyone? I probably shouldn't. Got to save my money for games I haven't played. Though these are HD...

Anyway, we still got to play Simpsons some time. I've been busy, but whenever a group of us can, we should try it. It'll be good times I'm sure.

Indeed we do!

Resident Evil Code Veronica is on sale to everybody for $10, while Resident Evil 4 is on sale for like $13 to non-PS+ members(it was the winner for Best PSN game) and $9.79ish for PS+ members.

Though be warned, from what I've heard these games aren't really "HD". They're just upscaled for HD televisions.

Did you buy it to play it or just to add to your collection? It was the only game I had for 32X, but I only was able to beat the game once. My 32X broke shortly after we got it. Being as it wasn't something I could get a lot of replay value out of, I don't really remember much about the game other than the characters. I'd like to play it again some day. I always figured Sega would re-release it at some point, but it's the one Sonic game they seem to always ignore. Well I guess it's not exactly a Sonic game, but whatever.
