Honestly, I do believe you are in luck xD. I know you're a pretty big Resident Evil fan, so I guess if its at all possible I'd recommend renting it.

I hear its rather short anyhow.

About an hour ago I downloaded New Super Mario Bros. 2.

Took about 15 minutes to download, not too bad considering someone said it'd take 40+ (which is ridiculous!)

Got through the first world (not 100% though) and I'm enjoying it thus far! Collecting coins is pretty fun, and I'm excited to try out coin rush mode.

Its not revolutionary in any means, but thus far its a well put together Mario title and you can't go wrong there.

Same for me. I got through world 1 and tried out Coin Rush mode after that. The key is to hit that flagpole for the x2 multiplier. I missed the second one so my score wasn't so great. It's a fun game. Pretty much exactly what I was expecting.

What I like about downloading is that it's available at midnight so I was able to get this earlier than buying retail. Not sure if that's the plan for future games, but I expect them to do that for big first party titles hopefully at least.

Yeah this midnight business was great.

What time zone are you in by the way?

I'm in eastern and it hit precisely at midnight, so I'm wondering if it hit everyone at the same time or if it hit different time zones at their midnight.

Which is really nice because usually I have to wait till like 3 AM for Nintendo related midnight business due to them usually operating in Pacific (since they're in Washington).

I remember buying Ocarina of Time 3D at Wal Mart at midnight and waiting at Club Nintendo refreshing it until it was active xD. Even though in the end thatwas useless since it CN blew up and they ended up giving everyone who registered day 1 the CD. . .but I digress.

Wow, I can't believe it's here already. While I am leaning toward Animal Crossing as a download I'm still not sure which I want to do for NSMB2, especially since space is still an issue for me. How many blocks was the download?

New Super Mario Bros. 2 is 2,950 blocks (somewhere in the 300Mb range)

I'm in the central time zone and was able to download at 11:00.

Edit: Oh hey, I got a 3DS XL. I'd say it improves on the 3DS in just about every way. I do have a minor complaint. When removing an SD card, the back panel feels like it could come off if you aren't careful. So be careful, I guess. I only changed my SD card the one time and I should be set from now on, but it really shouldn't have been like that.

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
I already wanted the XL, but earlier I saw images showing that DS games in 1:1 mode aren't so tiny you need to squint to see anything. After that, I'm definitely picking the XL over the old one. I think it might even be the same size as on an original or Lite DS screen.

I've been playing some DQM:Joker2 on the 3DS XL and I think in 1:1 mode, the screen is just a little bit bigger than the DSi. Not as big as the DSi XL of course, but it looks good. I'm not 100% sure on that, however. It's just what it looks like to me. If you want to play DS games, the 3DS XL is the way to go.
