Yeah, the game has a MUCH greater emphasis on puzzle solving then catching ghosts. It's almost like a point and click adventure really. Even the bosses seem more like large puzzles the actual fights. |

Luigi's Mansion 2 came in the mail Monday (however I haven't played it yet), and today Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge and Need for Speed Most Wanted U came in the mail (both for the low price of $30 each!). Will probably be a while before I even get into them though, I'd much like to beat Professor Layton before starting LM2, and Darksiders II before NG or NFS. |

I caved on buying this Spec Ops and The Darkness II bundle on Gamefly. Great deal but geez, my backlog... |

I got Spec Ops for free via PS+ and recently played through it. The gameplay is your typical FPS military affair (although it's quite challenging even on easier difficulties) but the story is REALLY good. It's the perfect length for the game and even offers alternate endings and different decisions you can make. Hope you enjoy it! |

Yeah, that's what I've heard a lot as well. I actually played the demo on Steam back when it first came out, and didn't expect much since the screenshots and first few minutes of gameplay make it look REALLY generic, but as you said they actually made the story interesting. They also somehow managed to make a desert look vibrant. I've played for 3 hours so far and I'm really enjoying it. |

Anyone get or plan on picking up Pandora's Tower this week? I don't have the cash for it, though I"m considering selling Need for Speed Most Wanted U. It's a pretty good game, but it's just not really my cup of tea at all, I'm much bigger on the arcadey racers! But at the same time, the more I play it and get better I grow fonder. . . |

Oh yeah, pandoras tower is coming out. I think I have that preordered on amazon.igoing to get it, though I'm not sure when I'll have time to play it. I got a feeling i would regret not buying it.

Looks like the Wii U virtual console is up and running. Games look like they will be priced similarly to Wii. $5 for NES and $8 for SNES. Though right now, games are on discount. Super Mario World is $1.50 and F-Zero is $1.00. Not sure how long these prices will last, or if sales like this will happen in the future, but it looks like now is the time to buy if you are interested. I got SMW. I can't say no at that price. |

Those prices are only applicable if you already own the game on the original Wii VC. So if you already own future releases they too will only be $1 for NES and $1.50 for SNES games. Plan on re-downloading Super Mario World! Also, going back a post or two. I traded in Need for Speed Most Wanted U and got $53 for it! ($33.60 for the initial trade in, and Amazon is doing a promotion where you get a bonus $20 if you trade in $20 or more) which is about a $20 profit for me since I got it off of EA's Origin store when it was on sale. Used the credit to get Pandora's Tower, with money to spare! It should be here tomorrow. |

Oh, speaking of Pandora's Tower, I bought it. Played it a bit, even. I like it, but not as good as Xenoblade or Last Story like most people are saying. I'm also playing Monster Hunter and LEGO City, and they seem to be taking up most my time. It's a game I want to beat eventually. |
