So, Super Luigi U launched today digitally (retail version available on August 25th) so I got it. I am about 3 worlds in thus far and am loving it for the most part! The levels are much more difficult this time around, and as per usual, Luigi's slip 'n slide nature makes that challenge all the more challenging. He can also jump significantly higher (higher than Yoshi even!) and has his signature flutter jump. The levels are also noticeably shorter, you only get 99 seconds this time around, though you get a bonus 100 seconds when you enter a boss door. I've only ran out of time once though, and that was trying to get all the star coins in one go (a few of 'em if you miss enough times you're screwed!). But the level design in general is great, just a little short. But $20 for 83 new levels is a great deal in my book (that's about $0.24 per level in comparison to NSMB2's $2.50 per level). I plan on buying a physical copy in August as well, mostly just for collector's sakes, that case looks great! I don't plan on re-selling it or anything if it ends up becoming an uncommon item. |

Part of the Nintendo update this week was game gear Sonic 2. I bought it. The game is "good" but I got it purely in nostalgia. One things for sure though HARDEST SONIC GAME EVER! |

I played GG Sonic 2 on Gems Collection and it seemed decent by GG Sonic standards. That tiny screen really made playing the GG Sonics annoying though. |

Sonic 2 was the only GG game I ever owned, its highly nostalgic for me as well. (My brothers owned Sonic Chaos and Aladin though, so I had a few other games to play :P) |

Downloaded Earthbound tonight, obviously, it's great! Buying it is putting me over 1,000 points on the Nintendo Digital Deluxe site so I'll be getting a $5 coupon tomorrow that I'll most likely redeem for Shantae on 3DS. |

Got three games. Earthbound, Shantae, and SMTIV. All great games. I highly recommend SMTIV. I only put about two hours into the game, so maybe it's too soon to make a recommendation, but I have loved everything so far. It's got some free dlc available right now too.not sure if that's a limited time deal, but it gets you some nice armor to start with and hair dye. $30 credit was nice too. Really looking forward to the SMTxFE game now. |

I got money for my birthday, which I should've saved...but then Mortal Kombat 2011 went on sale on Steam and I couldn't resist. It's great so far. The story mode feels like a new MK movie. It's pretty easy to get into as well. Overall it makes the older games obsolete for me. :p |

I've only played an hour demo on the PS3, but I absolutely loved it, the Komplete Edition is only $15 for PS3/360 so I've been meaning to check it out, I shall some day though! |

Dang, that's better than the PC version's price! But yeah, it just feels so much better than the previous games. It's a shame the Vita version has so many of the classic costumes as exclusives though. |

Yeah, it's definitely my favorite presentation of a fighting game's story ever. (Tough choice if you count Brawl as a fighter though, but that's neither here nor there right now) It makes me interested in Injustice: God's Among Us just for that reason. I also liked that they kept the roster simple, is it just MK I & II or do they include characters from 3 as well? (With the exception of Quan-Chi, who is one of my favorites, so I'm glad). |
