Dang, that's better than the PC version's price! But yeah, it just feels so much better than the previous games. It's a shame the Vita version has so many of the classic costumes as exclusives though.
Yeah, it's definitely my favorite presentation of a fighting game's story ever. (Tough choice if you count Brawl as a fighter though, but that's neither here nor there right now)

It makes me interested in Injustice: God's Among Us just for that reason.

I also liked that they kept the roster simple, is it just MK I & II or do they include characters from 3 as well? (With the exception of Quan-Chi, who is one of my favorites, so I'm glad).
I haven't put the rosters side by side to be 100% sure, but as far as I tell the game has the whole cast from the first trilogy, including Quan-Chi like you said, plus Kenshi from the PS2 era. It introduces two new characters, Skarlet and Cyber Sub-Zero. And of course there's Freddy Krueger. Boss characters aren't playable though, which I think are just Shao Kahn, Goro and Kintaro.

I'll also say it beats out Sub Space for me since the characters actually talk. :diddy:

I don't mind that they didn't speak in Subspace Emissary, sometimes actions speak louder than words and there are some excellent character moments that doesn't even require any words (like with Lucas) and there's just some great action.

I'd have to actually beat Mortal Kombat before I judge completely though, it could totally win me over by the end. I think I got to the bridge before my demo ended? Perhaps a little bit past that.

I bought Tales of Xillia on...Thursday, I think! My Gamestop had a limited edition left, so I nabbed free DLC and an artbook in the process, ueheheh. It's pretty great so far!

I love the Tales games, but after every one I play I am unable to play another one for quite some time. I usually do two or three playthroughs for each title so that they ware me out of the series for a while. I'm still recuperating from Abyss. I have played Symphonia, Vesperia, and Abyss. If I didn't have so many other games to play, I would probably go for Xillia.

Sounds like a nice package you got!

I've only really played Symphonia but I've wanted to try Abyss on the 3DS and these newer ones (Graces F and now Xillia) are looking pretty good too.

Yea I kinda splurged on the figures. I was only gonna get 3 ( you get a free kyurem when you get it at GameStop) but then got 5 thinking "it's just like having a real Pokemon team!"

I got

Pikachu
Eevee
Mewtwo
Piplup
Genesect
Black Kyurem

I'm ashamed to say I want MORE! I should have bought the whole box!

Got five more figures today. Celebi, Mewtwo, Lucario, Piplup, and Litwick. I was worried I'd get five more Torchics. These figures actually look kinda cool too.
