I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.

Tsk tsk...when will you and the Sith learn that the dark side will eventually consume you? :yoda: (That's how that dirty dasturd Sidious was finally defeated...dang him to heck...) :@ |

Well, Force Grip and Force Lightning are the only dark side powers that interested me, anyway. Now I can go on to rejoining the light side of the Force. The story is rather interesting. As for my powers, I've graduated to a Jedi Knight and have all my core Force powers at Rank 3, Force Push, Pull, Speed, Sense, Jump, and Lightsaber offense, defense, and saber throw. I've also got the light side power Force Heal at rank 3 since it really comes in handy. And like I said, Force Grip and Force Lightning at Rank 3. I've constructed dual Praetor Lightsabers, blue and green. That last mission was rough, there were lots of dark Jedi with all manner of lightsabers. The game is truly awesome. :w00t: |

You do make it sound awesome, but I haven't made it past the dorky beginning yet with my lame keybord controls (which I still don't know how to use  ). |

I'm telling you, PC game controllers are cheap, dude. You can use them with loads of games. It's worth it. ;) |

That's great to hear. :D I need to think of what I want to use my Circuit City gift card on. ^_^ A lady in my department at Kroger gave me a $10 one. I really need a new monitor. I guess I'll put it on one of those when I have the rest of the money. Whenever that'll be. |

The game is really starting to get difficult now. The majority of enemies are the dark Jedi dudes, all kinds of them. It's like you're constantly in lighsaber duels while trying to withstand dark side Force attacks. As if that ain't enough, now I have to deal with a genetically enhanced Rancor ! > < |

Yeah, something like that. Maybe gentically enhanced ain't the right way of putting it. It's like . . . got glowing green wires and stuff sticking out of it. It also has a metal plate protecting the top of its head. It seems to be faster and stronger than the normal Rancor I encountered. It doesn't look like you ever get to kill either one of them, though. Unfortunately, they can eat whoever they want to. On the other hand, that can be a good thing when you're force into a duel with several dark Jedi wielding single lightsabers, dual lightsabers, and even double-bladed lightsabers. They taste just as good as you do. :D Some dark Jedi don't even carry a lightsaber but rely on their Force powers. However, the coolest thing is when you get in lightsaber lock. Anything can happen then. A few times I've won a lightsaber lock by keeping one of my lightsabers in the lock and throwing the other like a boomerang circling around and slashing through the guy's back. Purely awesome and one of the reasons I chose dual lightsabers. You keep one for defense and use the other for offense. B) |

Well, I finished single player mode and . . . well, the ending was disappointing. The game was really cool up until that last stage. On the stage before that you make your final decision whether to follow the light side or the dark side by either sparing the life of your traitorous friend or killing him. The game's consistently increasing difficulty just stopped then and there. The last two duels are just pathetically easy. The game's storyline, which took a nosedive into stupidity at the end, also has some conflicts with the Star Wars movie storyline. Sigh. Another issue is that doing things differently in the customization of your character changes very little about the game. You even have the same name, Jaden something or other. It just doesn't sound right for a female Jedi. Oh well. Besides all that, the gameplay is very well done as I've said before and lots of fun. I guess I might go through the game again with things different after I check out the dark side ending since I chose the light, but I'll mainly be focusing on the multiplayer now. Cool game, but it has its flaws. I give it a 7.5 out of 10. |
