I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
A female Jedi named Jaden?

(Shouldn't it have been...Jade?)

Well, I finished single player mode and . . . well, the ending was disappointing. The game was really cool up until that last stage. On the stage before that you make your final decision whether to follow the light side or the dark side by either sparing the life of your traitorous friend or killing him. The game's consistently increasing difficulty just stopped then and there. The last two duels are just pathetically easy. The game's storyline, which took a nosedive into stupidity at the end, also has some conflicts with the Star Wars movie storyline. Sigh. Another issue is that doing things differently in the customization of your character changes very little about the game. You even have the same name, Jaden something or other. It just doesn't sound right for a female Jedi. Oh well. Besides all that, the gameplay is very well done as I've said before and lots of fun. I guess I might go through the game again with things different after I check out the dark side ending since I chose the light, but I'll mainly be focusing on the multiplayer now. Cool game, but it has its flaws. I give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Such a high rating doesn't imply that these "flaws" are anything major. What was so stupid about the ending? (and I think that Jaden suits as a girl or a guy name just fine, but maybe it's just me; Jade would be more appropriate)

Well, they're not anything really major. There's still many cool things about the game and the story doesn't even matter to some people. Some people buy games like this just for the multiplayer and never even play single player mode. If you must know, I will tell you but it's a spoiler so . . .

BIG, FAT SPOILER WARNING !

Now then, some idiots are trying to reform a Sith cult and are using a mystical sceptor to absorb the residual dark side Force energy from various locations where the dark side of the Force is strong, like that place on Dagobah where Luke faced the dream Vader. They attempt, and on the light side succeed, in resurrecting a Sith Lord who died thousands of years ago to help them destroy the Jedi. The freaky Sith ghost posesses the leader of the cult so you get to kick her butt a second time. You destroy the sceptor and the dude fades away or something. The problem with all this is, the Force was brought back into balance already. There should be no Sith and no dark side. Stupid.

Yeah, that is really stupid. I think that a Sith ghost or resurrected sith or whatever like you mentioned is really dumb and unecessary.

My thoughts exactly. In the dark side you stop them before they can complete their plans. Then you fight Kyle Katarn but not to the death. You go off to lead the Imperial Remnant as the new Sith Lord or something and Luke and Kyle vow to stop you.

Heh heh, how interesting. So though you have an "evil" ending, you will soon be stopped by the heroes anyways. How rewarding <_< :eggman:

Yep, pretty much. Part of that good always triumphs over evil thing, I suppose. ^_^

Well, I'm ready to start downloading player models, weapons, maps, mods, and stuff now. So far I've only downloaded a Darth Vader player model but it's really cool. It was very well done and includes many interesting features like Stormtrooper back-up.

Well, I got myself a pretty nice game controller and played against Project : Shadow on this game all night. It was quite some fun. I'll have to play the story soon now that I've just about mastered the controls (as far as I know anyways, I suppose I should just say set up and learned the controls).

Yeah, we definitely have to do some more of that. Dude, there are so many awesome downloads out there for this game ! There are player models for Star Wars Clone Wars which are cell-shaded and really look just like the cartoon. There's also . . . you're not ready for this . . . player models of . . . THE MARIO BROS. ! ! :mario: :luigi:
