For my own little reasons, one of them being simple curiousity, I have decided to ask you all who your favorite villains are. You may have five favorite villains. I've included ten villains as poll choices that are each villains of one of the several themes of Station Square Forums. However, you don't have to pick any of them. You can choose "other" five times if your favorite five villains don't appear here. You can choose any villain from anything be it a movie, TV show, animated series, book or video game. Just so long as they're fictional characters but not fan characters. That means you can pick anyone from one of the many versions of Shedder from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Doctor Wily from MegaMan to Captain Barbossa on Pirates of the Caribbean : The Curse of the Black Pearl. Take some time to think about it. What do you think makes a good . . . no, make that a bad villain ? Do you like them maniacal or calm ? Slightly good or pure evil ? Evil laughter or cold silence ? Brains or brawn ? Hideous or handsome ? Boxers or briefs ? Wait . . . that's just wrong. Nevermind, so who do you think makes the perfect villain in a fictional story ? Take some time to think about it. I'll post my choices in a while. Maybe I'll have a hero poll some other time, but for now, it's villains I'm interested in. |

My "other" choices were... Yggdrasill from Tales of Symphonia. I'm not completely sure why, but I just found myself liking him. And Cackletta from Mario & Luigi: SuperStar Saga. An evil spellcaster with evil intentions? W00t! Plus she looks cool. And on top of that, she's awesome when she fuses with Bowser! |

Heh, I was going to add Cackletta and Wart from Super Mario Bros. 2 but I ran out of room. ^_^ Too many Star Wars villains. Sith, that is . . . and Grievous. |

Not to mention Asajj Ventress. She's pretty evil...she's responsible for the death of over seventeen Jedi! (It was funny when she got angry when the news said she only killed eleven Jedi!) :eggman: |

Alright, for me, the most important thing is for a villain to have a little sense of humor mixed in with their evil. That's why I chose some funny characters from some of my favorite cartoons I watched as a kid (and still do watch if I get the chance). NegaDuck from Disney's Darkwing Duck cartoon, Don Karnage from Disney's Tailspin cartoon, and the Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the original 1987 cartoon). Sometimes I like them to be slightly good and I do think it's cool when they turn completely good, but should that disqualify them as being a cool villain ? It's difficult to determine, but I'm willing to make an exception when it comes to the ultimate Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader. He'll always be a cool villain partly because of the fact that he managed to defeat the dark side. However, I do have one favorite villain who is pretty much all darkness. The terror from The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the Witch King of Angmar. |

(after seeing that Vader has three votes and reading Shadow's comment) Yup. Lets face it; Vader's the best Sith ever! :eggman: (Still in need of a Vader emoticon!) ;) |

Yep, looks that way. And yeah, we really do need a Vader emoticon. We'll get one soon. "I find your lack of faith disturbing." Which brings me to something else. Post any of your favorite villains' cool or funny quotes if you want. |

MOTOR GAMES ON CARDCYCLES
|
I got my list ready.
^_^ And two of 'em are from MegaMan.
^_^ Bass.EXE (Every MegaMan Battle Network game, MegaMan NT Warrior, MegaMan NT Warrior Axess, MegaMan NT Warrior manga series) - In the anime, Bass is kinda like Shadow. Is he hero, or villain? What is his true purpose? In the manga, he is pure evil, and vows to kill MegaMan, and maybe all of humanity while he's at it. In the games, he normally just appears as a super-tough secret boss. Dark ProtoMan.EXE (MegaMan NT Warrior Axess) - It's ProtoMan, but he's evil, works for the Dark Chip Syndicate (otherwise known as Nebula), and wants to kill Lan and Chaud. On top of that, he just looks so cool. Mewtwo (Pokemon The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back) - I may not watch Pokemon anymore, but I still love Mewtwo. A talking, evil Pokemon willing to destroy the Earth and every living thing on it. He's awesome. He killed Ash. Except all those other Pokemon brought him back to life. Team Rocket (Every Pokemon episode except for ep 1) - Jessie, James, and Meowth. Professional idiots. Their goal, to capture Pikachu. Their results, "We're blasting off again!" And you can't forget that crazy (yet somewhat annoying) motto. Monkey Metterex (Sonic X) - Yeah, he appeared for only one episode ("Desperately Seeking Sonic"), but he was pretty funny. He's that kind of Metterex that doesn't want to fight, so he has to resort to using sneaky traps (that Cosmo keeps falling into). Too bad he was destroyed at the end of the episode. |

Pretty cool, ShadowBanana.
;) Here are some quotes from my favorite villains. Witch King of Angmar : (Well, he does talk with a creepy, low-pitched voice, but the coolest sound to ever come from him has to be that spine-chilling . . .) SCREEEECH ! Don Karnage : 'Allo. It is I, the spectaculous Don Karnage ! My blood thirsty horde and I are on an intercept course with you. We will be shooting you and looting you in precisely . . . ten minutes ! Felicitations. Shredder : Ahh, it feels so good to be so bad ! NegaDuck : (This one needs some explanation. It's funny but you have to know what's going on. The group of super villains called the Fearsome Five, led by NegaDuck, have taken over the city of St. Canard. The other four then begin to argue about how to share control of the city over a model of the city. NegaDuck gets sick of hearing them, as he often does, and cranks up his chainsaw, as he often does, and saws the the model of the city into four equal pieces. Happy with himself for settling the argument, he walks off. Then the four ask him what he gets if he doesn't get to control the city.) The loot. (He replies while leaning up against a small mountain of stolen cash.) Darth Vader : (This will always be one of my favorite quotes.) All too easy. |
