Oh yeah, I've read those before. They were awesome. I bought and read all the Zelda mangas that are out and thoroughly enjoyed them. Four Swords was probably the best, and the funniest, one. I wonder if they'll ever translate the Phantom Hourglass one or make any more for that matter. It seems they pretty much ended at A Link to the Past. A Twilight Princess manga would probably be pretty funny what with Midna's antics. |

Amazon has Phantom Hourglass listed with a generic cover art and a sept release date. I have all the books in a box somewhere, I really need to read them |

Finally caved and spent some money. I got volume 33 of One Piece (Davy Back Fight!) and volume 2 of Pokémon Adventures. I'm glad they finally did a proper release of Pokémon Adventures. I can't wait to get more. |

I'll have to check that out. The only one I had was something along the lines of "THE BEST OF RED" or something like that. I enjoyed it though. Back in the day I had the first few Pokemon Adventures in comic book form though. Back during the anime's heyday. |

Yeah, I have The Best of Red and The Best of Yellow. I didn't like that though, I thought it was dumb to just have a bunch of random chapters in a volume like that. Plus they flipped the artwork. The new releases they started last year are in the original format and are in order. They have up to volume 9 out, with 10 coming next month. (They're in the G/S/C era) They also have the D/P volumes out, (not sure how many) though none of the R/S/E or FR/LG ones yet. |

My new PC plans have changed a bit, so I can spend a bit more money. I bought One Piece 35, and Pokemon Adventures 3 and 4. |

I've been meaning to get the Zelda: Phantom Hourglass manga, and probably will one of these days. However, last night I picked up the first three volumes in one of One Piece and the first volume of the Mega Man Megamix manga. I just finished reading both and they were great. The Mega Man manga does a good job of telling Rock's origins, though after the Mega Man 2 story it kind of skips past Mega Man 3 (though it gives sort of a one page synopsis of it) to do a different story with the Mega Man 3 Robot Masters that takes an unexpected turn. Still, it's got some good artwork and I like the personalities of the characters, though the story seems a bit rushed sometimes. I look forward to seeing how Ian Flynn handles the Archie Mega Man comic book and how it compares to this. I think there's only two more volumes available, so I'll probably pick them up eventually as well as I continue collecting the One Piece manga at the same time. |

Well, my manga collection has grown considerably. I now have all three volumes of Mega Man Megamix, I still only lack Phantom Hourglass (I'll get it one of these days) of the Zelda manga, and I've got the four available omnibuses of One Piece (volumes 1-12). From here on I intend to get that last Zelda manga, Mega Man Gigamix (doesn't come out until May, though), continue collecting One Piece in order by single volume, and I may start getting Pokemon Adventures somewhere along the line. About the Mega Man manga: It's pretty good. The first two stories are adaptions of the games, Mega Man and Mega Man 2 for NES. These are rather well done. Just don't expect them to truly follow the games. Mega Man fighting minor enemies and passing obstacles in each stage are very rarely shown. The manga focuses primarily on the battles with the robot masters (even confrontations with Dr. Wily are pretty short). Any other stories based on the game storyline are rushed through and serve only to introduce new robot masters as characters. The original stories (not following any storyline from the games) are better developed and better develop the characters, each robot (be it a creation of Light, Wily, or Cossack) with their own personality (something that very little info is available on). They also present an opportunity for seldom seen characters like Tango (the feline support robot from Mega Man V for Gameboy) and Reggae (a robot bird companion for Dr. Wily) to be seen more often. I really enjoyed these stories more. Also worth mentioning are character profiles and silly (and sometimes hilarious) mini comics at the end of the manga. I'd say these are almost worth the entire purchase of the book in my opinion. So anyway, if you like Mega Man and would like more insight into the characters check it out! The writing and art style is somewhat similar to the Zelda manga, so if you like them this may interest you as well. |

I bought OP volumes 36 and 37 today. I might get back to collecting earlier volumes again next time. |
