Chapter 1: In Metroboto

Dark Fist, Galdor and Bodocrov looked to their left.
“You people! Get out of here! This is a restricted area. Scat!” the echidna said.
“Sorry, sir, but we were just exploring,” Galdor replied, a little scared.
“Well go explore somewhere else, you little kids. If you mess with me, you’re going to regret it, got that?” he retorted.
Galdor got frustrated. Dark Fist sensed it and got off Bodocrov. He approached the echidna calmly.
“Sir, no need to get mad. We were just looking around. I’m Dark Fist. Glad to meet you,” Dark Fist stuck out his hand.
He noticed that the echidna had a gun hoisted on his right hip. The echidna slapped the hand away aggressively and turned his back on Dark Fist.
“Leave. Now. I gave you two warnings and this is my third. Leave,” the echidna said again.
Dark Fist was frustrated a bit too. Why was he so mad? Was the business going on in the city something top secret? It didn’t matter. They weren’t spies or anything. But Dark Fist just left the echidna alone and paced back to Bodocrov.
“Let’s go now, Galdor. I don’t care about this anymore,” Dark Fist told Galdor.
“People like that echidna get on my nerves,” Galdor said.
“Forget about it before he hears you. I don’t want to fight. I’m too weak right now and you don’t have any powers. Or do you?” Dark Fist questioned.
“Want to see? Galdor stated proudly.
He pointed and showed Bodocrov a point in the distance and told the spider go there.
Pretty soon they were riding in the early evening air, wind blowing and the sun lowering slowly into the horizon.
They arrived where they wanted to be and Galdor got off his spider. Dark Fist remained on Bodocrov, cautiously watching.
Galdor looked down at the ground, his eyes penetrating and unhurriedly turning into a dark green shade. He started to hum a somewhat frightening sound. Galdor raised his arms slowly, and at the same time, a big chunk of the earth was ascending from the ground.
“Whoa,” Dark Fist exclaimed.
Galdor didn’t hear him. He kept concentrating hard and then stepped onto the piece of land. He looked up and told Dark Fist to come. Dark Fist got off Bodocrov and both he and the spider crawled onto the hunk of grass and dirt Galdor made.
“Let’s go into this city and ditch the echidna,” Galdor said.
“He might see us, though. I don’t think this is a good idea,” Dark Fist replied.
“Come on, we’re on an adventure aren’t we?” Galdor said.
And so, the the two hedgehogs and spider rose even higher into the sky and then made a sudden push to the direction of the huge city in front of them. They all looked back at the echidna. He was staring right at them!

He pulled out his gun.

Chapter 2: Join Us

“Faster, Galdor! Hurry, he has his gun out!” Dark Fist hollered.
Galdor went back to concentrating. His eyes lit gloomier and gloomier. A sinister look on his face.
WWHHHOOSSHHOOMM!!
We traveled even more rapidly than before, maybe going quicker than 100 km per hour. We started to lower into the city, but still going at full speed. Faster and faster, it seemed. The sun was almost down. I squinted my eyes into the orange and reddish sun, thinking about the night.
“Aerk!” something said.
Dark Fist turned around. Nothing.
“Aeerk! Eeerk!”
Again and again, it said. But finally Dark Fist realized. It was Bodocrov! He got shot by the echidna about five times. Dark Fist had totally forgotten.
“Galdor! Bodocrov got fired down! Galdor! Listen to me!” Dark Fist said.
Galdor wasn’t listening. His whole body started to glow now. His eyes were not getting dimmer anymore, but brighter. Dark Fist got up and started to shake Galdor furiously.
“Galdor! Stop it!” Dark Fist shouted.
“DON’T BOTHER ME!” Galdor yelled.
And then there was a boom. An explosion. A blast. An eruption. The chunk of rock they were standing on busted into a million bits. They went flying into the air, practically floating. Dark Fist saw Bodocrov’s blood streaming away into the sky. Galdor unconscious and his drifting limbs. They were all soaring into the same direction. At least something fortunate.
“Aerk!”
Bodocrov was gone for sure now.
Then came the rush of falling down to the Earth, with the empty stomach reaction.
“Galdor, wake up! Wake up!” Dark Fist shouted, still in midair.
He had his eyes closed, nearly appearing asleep. It then happened.

BBRRAAAKKOOMM!!!

Dark Fist landed horribly on the roof of a building, wooden boards crashing and steel bending everywhere.
“Ugh…uunnhh…” Dark Fist groaned in severe pain.
He tried to stand up, but failed. Dark Fist then heard a sound. The sound of wheels rubbing against cement road. Then fire. Crackling fire, getting closer and closer. Then he heard smoke ejecting out of some kinds of jet packs.

“Here, let me help you up. Grab my hand,” a voice said.

Chapter 3: Disguised

Dark Fist looked up. He saw a blurry image. Yellow, red, black, gray. It was something.
“Grab my hand,” it said again.
Dark Fist responded and raised his hand. He felt a cold, firm hand pick him up.
“Who…are you?” Dark Fist asked. He was on his feet now, and his vision was becoming clearer. Dark Fist now saw a tall hedgehog with yellow and red skin, and totally black eyes with a bit of red inside. He wore a cape and held some kind of boomerang-type weapon.
“His eyes…it looks just like that evil chameleon…Zoro…this guy’s wearing a disguise!” Dark Fist thought to himself.
“Allow me to introduce myself. I am Ru---“ it started to say, but Dark Fist slammed his electric fist brutally into his face. Gong! His face was made of metal!
“Don’t try and trick me you devil! You’re Zoro!” Dark Fist shouted into his mug face.
Dark Fist stuck his hand out and produced a bright streak of lightning toward Zoro. It fell off the roof and floated quickly toward the ground. Dark Fist leaped off the roof as well, to try and defeat this beast again. He waved his arms wildly to balance himself so he wouldn’t land headfirst. Dark Fist somehow caught up to Zoro and then stomped onto his torso, both of them still in flight. Dark Fist punched and punched, with more rage each time.
Dark Fist noticed they were going to hit the ground soon. The tension of the wind pressed against his face fiercely. Dark Fist then protruded his palms and generated two strips of electricity that literally stuck onto the walls of the building like a web. It didn’t stick instantly though and it made the strong sizzling sound of friction. It slowed down a bit nonetheless and Dark Fist gave Zoro a vicious kick to the face while he jumped off his body. Zoro plunged even faster to the ground while Dark Fist stuck to walls with his web-like lines of electricity.
He then absorbed the “electric web” back onto the outer surface of his palms and crawled down the side of the building like Spiderman. He eventually jumped off when he was close enough to the ground. He landed with a loud thud. He looked around. Zoro wasn’t in sight. He started to walk and find Galdor and Bodocrov’s corpse.
But he heard a sound.
He stopped pacing and listened intently. A whirling sound. He rapidly turned around to see the boomerang coming at him. It was just a few metres away from him. Dark Fist focused hard and created an electric barrier in front of him. The boomerang pathetically bounced off the shield and dropped to the ground.
“That’s all you got, eh? I guess you’re doing this just for some money,” Dark Fist stated.
He walked away and immediately started searching for Galdor and Bodocrov.
“Galdor! Where are you? Bodocrov!” Dark Fist screamed.
“You!” a voice said.
“Huh?!” Dark Fist looked straight ahead and saw the echidna that was trying to keep the three of them away from the city.
“We meet again,” the echidna said.
Dark Fist looked at him closely. He saw his nametag. It said, “Aguianaldo: Protector of Metroboto.”
“So, Aguinaldo,” Dark Fist said, “this place is Metroboto.”
“How’d you…never mind,” Aguianaldo said.
“Metroboto…it sounds like something do with robots…I don’t see any,” Dark Fist commented.
“Oh no robots, huh? Watch,”
“Huh?”
Backup is needed at Main Street and Gear Drive. Bring in the big ones,” Aguianaldo said into a walkie-talkie.
In a split second, Dark Fist was surrounded. By robots. They were all tall and wide. They all lifted their guns toward Dark Fist.
“On three!,” Aguianaldo yelled, “One…two…THREE!”
Triggers went off. Dark Fist was too slow to react, and he knew he was a goner now.
But beyond all the sound of the deadly bullets, the fear, the chaos, Dark Fist heard something. A heavy, low sound. Almost like a sonic boom. The low sound turned into a high sound. A high screeching sound. Right before the bullets were about to hit him, a blur of colours bordered him and he saw and heard the bullets ricochet off the blur. They all fell to the ground. The blur stopped moving and it turned out to be Zoro!
“Zoro, you monster! Get out of here!” Dark Fist hollered.
He didn’t answer and just began to attack the robots by kicking, punching, and also killing them with a laser coming out of his eyes. Dark Fist started fighting the robots too. They started shooting once again, and Dark Fist covered himself in a shield while attacking. Pretty soon, only Aguianaldo was the only one left.
“Zoro, why are you doing this?!” Dark Fist said.
“Who is this Zoro you’re talking about?” Zoro said.
They were walking calmly side by side, not afraid of Aguianaldo because he was vulnerable.
“Let’s talk later, ok? Let’s finish this echidna,” Zoro said.
He instantly went running after him. Aguianaldo started running too. Dark Fist caught up with Zoro.
“Throw me into the air!” Dark Fist shouted.
He hopped onto Zoro’s hands, and Zoro catapulted him into the air. Dark Fist soared over Aguianaldo. He immediately electrocuted him and dove down. While in midair Dark Fist kicked the echidna into Zoro’s direction. Zoro was still running. Aguianaldo flew closer and closer, and Zoro lasered him with his eyes. Aguianaldo lay dead on the street after Zoro’s attack.
“Phew!” Zoro said. He approached Dark Fist to explain himself.

He wanted to help. He was a Freedom Fighter.

Chapter 4: Seeing Double…?

Zoro, you beast! Keep away from me or face my powers!” Dark Fist threatened.
“Will you stop? I am not this Zoro you talk of. Listen to me,” the robot like creature said.
Dark Fist cautiously walked toward him.
“Look, I’m a Freedom Fighter. My name is Rumil. When I saw you collide into that building, I was patrolling in my car, so I hopped out and started to hover up to lend a hand to you. And you started to assume me as Zoro. Who is that?” Rumil explained.
“Forget it. Nice to meet you, Rumil. Sorry for the misunderstanding,” Dark Fist replied.
“Nice to meet you too. Come, get into my car,” Rumil said.
They both got in and Rumil started the engine.
“So, why were you here in Metroboto for this whole time?” Rumil questioned.
Dark Fist told Rumil everything that had happened since when he got kicked out of his home in Mobotropolis. Meeting Jaggo, his brother dying, the battle with Zoro and all the rest.
“and now Bodocrov and Galdor are probably dead…” Dark Fist finished.
“Wow, you went through a lot of hard times. Let’s go find Galdor and Bodocrov,” Rumil suggested.
Rumil pressed a button on the dashboard of his car and a glass top covered the open pinnacle space. They started to ride and viewed the areas around them. They saw androids and robots inside buildings, working.
“There! There’s Bodocrov!” Dark Fist said.
Rumil looked at where Dark Fist pointed and turned the car. Dark Fist got off the vehicle and kneeled down to Bodocrov.
“He’s not alive. Look at all this blood. Sigh…” Dark Fist said.
Dark Fist stared at Bodocrov’s for a long time. Dark Fist raised his arms slowly and jolted Bodocrov’s dead body with electricity. Dark Fist kept electrocuting the friendly but lifeless spider until it was just ashes. Dark Fist picked up the remains ceremonially and threw them into the air. The light breeze of Metroboto carried the ashes into the sky and they floated off into the distant heavens.
Dark Fist looked at the blue sky for a long time. But finally Dark Fist started walking back to Rumil and the car.
“Let’s go find Galdor,” Dark Fist said.
“Okay,” Rumil replied.
Rumil started the car again and they drove around. A whole hour passed, Galdor still not in sight. But at last…
“Is that him? Dark Fist, is that him?” Rumil said.
Dark Fist looked and saw Galdor lying unconsciously on the ground. This time Rumil got off the car too. They walked over to Galdor’s body. He was heavily bruised and bleeding. Rumil felt his pulse.
“He’s alive,” Rumil told Dark Fist.
“How do we get him conscious again?” Dark Fist asked.
Rumil thought for a second and said, “Electrocute him.”
“What?! No way!”
“Trust me. Just a weak jolt will do the trick. Do your weakest attack on him, and he’ll be fine,”
“Are you sure?”
“Positive,”
Dark Fist took a few steps back and raised one hand. Crackles of electricity ran through his palm wildly.
“Okay, I’m going to do it now,”
A light streak of voltage went through the air and down to Galdor’s body. Galdor wiggled viciously.
“All right, that should be good enough,” Rumil said.
Dark Fist ceased and kneeled next to Rumil. Rumil picked him up with his own two hands.
“Wow, Rumil’s stronger than I expected,” Dark Fist thought to himself.
Galdor suddenly opened his eyes!
“AAHH!” Who are you two robots!?” Galdor yelled in shock.
He jumped out of Rumil’s arms and made two pieces of the ground levitate in his control.
“Go away, or ELSE!!!” Galdor threatened.
“Galdor, it’s okay! Remember me? I’m Dark Fist!” Dark Fist tried to calm him down.
“Dark Fist, you have a twin!?” Galdor screamed in horror.
“What do you mean? It’s just me!” Dark Fist said.
“No..no…there are two of you!”
“Calm down, Galdor! See, this is my friend Rumil,”
“NO! Stop fooling me! There are four of you all together here!”
“Wait, could you listen to me for a second, please?” Rumil asked Galdor.
“What?!”
“Okay, look at the ground carefully,”
Galdor corresponded vigilantly.
“Now, how many laser beams do you see?” Rumil said.
Rumil made a one laser beam flow out of his eyes and onto the ground.
“I see two,” Galdor said.
Rumil added another laser beam.
“How about now?” Rumil asked.
“Four,”
Another beam.
“Six,”
Another.
“Eight,”
Finally, another.
“Ten,”
Dark Fist knew what Rumil was doing. Clearly, Rumil had emitted five laser beams on the ground. But Galdor said he saw ten. Galdor was seeing double. The impact was probably so harsh on Galdor’s face that his eyes took most of the collision and made his eyes see double.
“Okay, now use your powers to levitate one piece of the ground into the air, please,” Rumil said.
Galdor concentrated on the ground, and two pieces escalated into the air instead.
“Without a doubt, Galdor, you are seeing double!” Rumil confirmed.
“Really?! Wow...thanks for helping me realize…Rumil…” Galdor said.
“Now don’t be too happy about it, though. Your common accuracy will lower, but fortunately your powers doubled as well. When I asked you to ascend a portion of earth, you ascended two portions,” Rumil explained.
“Thanks again. Sorry for the threats,”
‘No problem. By the way, I’m a Freedom Fighter. And Dark Fist and I were looking around this here city, Metroboto, for you. Come, hop into my car. We’ll get you healed up at one of the FF Offices here,”
Galdor was glad he was found and became conscious again, but something about Rumil gave him the creeps. Sometimes he saw him glow in purple.
