Alright, I beat Star Wars Lethal Alliance Saturday. I must say it was quite a disapointment. Mainly, it just doesn't have the Star Wars feel to it. The game is very flat, short, and repetitive. You are a Twi'lek female Rianna who meets a droid that she calls Zeeo and you team up in pursuit of her advesary Kheev. You run down the only available path, you shoot, you solve one of about three types of puzzles that you keep having to do and repeat. The concept of completing mini-game puzzles to hack security systems for opening doors, controlling sentry droids, and lowering barriers sounds cool, but it's just the same simple puzzles over and over just with slightly increasing difficulty. There are three moderately cool boss fights in the whole game, one being the ending. Every once and a while you do a speed run which is riding on the droid quickly down a straight path dodging left and right and shooting. These speed runs are fun, but again there's not much to them so even they get repetitive. The story is nearly non-existant with only a few short story segments which are just still pictures with words. Basically, Leia pays Rianna to do a few tasks for the Rebel Alliance then Rianna gets caught by imperials and is sent to work on building the Death Star as a slave, escapes to tell the Rebels about the Death Star and ultimately steal the Death Star plans from her nemesis Kheev when he's delivering them for Vader. Lastly, there isn't really any replay value. There are no special items to collect or anything. Once you play through the game you can't go back to any part, you can only play the final boss again or start the whole game over on another save file. Beating the game does unlock Speed run on the menu which just lets you play through all the speed runs together without being able to choose one, you just have to play through them all. The game has multiplayer, but it's only multi-pak and I really doubt anyone else would want to get the game because frankly it stinks. Plus IGN said that the multiplayer isn't any good anyways. I know I didn't touch on everything, feel free to ask me questions or make suggestions for making my review better. But you can clearly see that this game isn't worth buying. |

Man, well besides Rianna (which a fairly cool name IMO), those other names are sure dorky sounding, Zeeo and Kheev. Sounds like another thing they must've not put a lot of effort into. That is nuts not being able to go back to previous stages of the game. I mean, almost every game let's you do that to some extent at least. Oh well, I really wasn't overly interested in the game to start with, so I think I'll take your word (and IGN and anyone else who thought it stunk which is probably everyone) for it. Let's hope future Star Wars games turn out better than this one, and maybe they won't be made by Ubisoft. |

Ha, it looks like Nintendo Power liked it more than you did. Atleast who reviewed did(forget who reviewed it at this moment), he didn't love it or anything :p. |

Oh it's good, it has coverage on Smooth Moves, it even has a REVIEW FOR IT ALREADY! Also coverage on Diddy Kong Racing DS, as well as Wario Master of Disguises! I can't wait for that game. |
