I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
You mean anticipating Smash Bros. 4? If so, well that most likely won't happen since this is supposed to be the last game. :p

Gamma, the Wii will die eventually, all consoles do :p, just look at the PS2, and the DS. The PS2 moved on. . .less thans tellar, but it still moved on. And rumors of a new handheld console are going around. No matter how well a console does they always have to move on. The Wii would get very boring after say, ten years of just the same old thing. Nintendo is about inovation, and they would need to move on to do the next great thing. Whatever that may be, we will not know till the time is right :p.

Arrg, we're talking about a decade from now, for all we know the world could have ended before Nintendo makes their next home console so saying what will or will not happen is really quite pointless.

And you're right Dragon, since Brawl will truly offer infinite amusement like no game ever before (but again, that's enough of trying to predict the future, I'll shut up now :eggman: )

Well regardless, I'm sure Nintendo doesn't put "The End of the World" in their agenda. Sure they're not thinking about moving ahead now. But of course in the future there will be plans for a new Nintendo home console.

I'll shut up too about that :p.

Yeah, it's WAY too early to be talking about new systems when the ones that are out right now are just getting started. There's really no need in thinking about the future game systems, especially if the current console makers aren't thinking about it. It's probably best to just enjoy what we have at the moment and not speculate too far ahead.

I don't think I've said anything about the most recent update, so here I go. I found the level editor feature to be a very interesting new feature. It still seems to be far from complete, but it does offer the potential to keep matches fresh and exciting as long as there are those out there who want to keep adding new things to the table. I'm just hoping that this is a feature that doesn't end up as "slapped on" just for bragging rights, and I also hope that this doesn't mean a smaller selection of in-game stages that will be available.

Nicely said, I love it how you always seem to know just the right thing to say when you make a post. And I'm confident that we don't have to worry about anything being "slapped on" in Super Smash Bros. Part of the reason that Super Smash Bros is such a success is that every little detail is fully and carefully fleshed out, even if it takes a couple extra months to do it.

And oh yeah, sorry I forgot to give Dragon credit for predicting the Stage Builder. When I first saw the update one of the first things I thought was that one of us had actually predicted it but I couldn't remember who it was, so kudos to Dragon ^_^

Well we all knew that Classic mode would be back, and it's now been officially announced. Apparently coins like those in Melee are back as well, but he won't let us know what you can do with them just yet. Will the coins be used to lottery for trophies again? Hopefully they'll be useful for something more than just a trophy "gum ball machine" this time, maybe you can use them to get special stickers or something.

The edit button wouldn't have hurt :p. But yeah classic mode isn't anything new(cuz then it wouldn't be classic :p), but it's defintly always welcomed. And didn't you read it Gamma, they said they're not used to shop :p.

So you're calling the trophy "Lottery" from Melee shopping? What else could the coins be for if they aren't for that?

Oh, I have an idea now: maybe you use the coins to play a mini-game in which you can win prizes such as random trophies or stickers. But isn't that still like Melee except the only game you played was the game of chance? Well whatever it is I hope it's something fresh instead of the same thing that was in Melee.
