While I'll also say that it's a bummer that Ness doesn't look like he'll be returning, Lucas does seem like a rather good replacement. I am a bit bummed out about one other thing, though. I wanted to see something done to make PK Thunder an easier recovery move. It's probably because I'm not much of a Ness player, but I just found the move a bit too risky to use in the heat of battle. It's nice to see that Lucas also has his snake rope as a means of recovery, but I wonder exactly how effective it will be.

I am wondering, have you played Earthbound? The reason PK thunder is so hard to use is because its the same way in Earthbound. Its very hard to hit enemies with it plus sometimes it does nail the player.

Which is why the Franklin Badge is such a powerful item in EB.

I wonder if everyone in Smash will have English voice overs this time? Does Ike have an English VO in Path of Radiance? (or the newly released Radiant Dawn for that matter?)

Ike does have an English VA in the opening cutscene of PoR.

Ah... Thanks for the info. No, I've never had the chance to play Earthbound or any of the Mother games, for that matter. I guess that makes sense enough for me to agree with it at the moment. :p

So perhaps Ike and Lucas will say things in English, cool. And I haven't played Earthbound either so I also give thanks for that info.

Today we've been introduced to a new stage. This one is placed in Norfair from Metroid and looks pretty similar to the stage where the lava rises in Melee. Fighting for the little safe room when the lava wave comes is crazy, but certainly sounds like fun. I'd hate to be locked out of the safe area though

Looks like a pretty hectic stage. . .and it also got me to think, I wonder if you'll be able to add safety hazards to the create-a-stage levels D:. I mean like lava spewing out, not just spikes or something.

Sweet, and has that F-Zero emblem been used yet? Surely Captain Falcon will be making his return and using that emblem. I really like the sound of having Mega Man be the last 3rd party character that's in, that'd be so awesome!
