Yes, I hope it really works that well, but I'm sure they're using a pristine high-speed connection. We can at least infer that WiFi battles won't always work that well. And though they speak of distance, with the internet I don't think distance is very much of a problem or limitation. It is pretty amazing how you can play against someone on the other side of the world, but it's nothing new. Another factor that should be taken into consideration is all of the online traffic on WiFi that there will be from when the game is released to... the end of time XD. But hopefully everything will work smoothly even with a million people playing online at once. |

Actually distance does matter, thats why mario strikers charged is region locked(US copies can only play against other US copies), they said there'd be too much lag between America and Europe, or Japan. For that game in particular. Another impressive thing is that four players, and some fighting games can barely manage 2 player fighting. |

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.

The Japanese site got a different video. Meh, Bleach DS can do two-four player battles nicely. :p Or at least two player battles. I finally played someone recently, and they were throwing out specials like crazy and there was no lag. So, I'm not really amazed by this. :eggman: |

Heh, Ike Kirby looks funny. I love the Delfino music :mario: . And it seems Snake relys on a lot of remote warfare (as expected). |

Heh only a matter of time after the release that someone finds a code via Action replay to turn off the clock on those "demos". Which like Sonic Gems Collection will allow you to play the full game. Assuming the full game is there of course! |

Virtual Console demos, huh? Well that's cool. I have all of those except Kid Icarus and Ice Climbers, though. Once again, take a look at the Japanese site and you'll notice they have two more games on there than we do, Fire Emblem: Dark Dragon and Sword of Light and Mother 2/Earthbound. |

Pretty nifty, hope to see Earthbound make it to our version also(don't see why not though). |

Translation would be the only reason why not, same for Fire Emblem which I also hope is included. This is awesome though! Someone remind me why people are still making "other games" ? Sure some people will just look at this as a shameless plug for Nintendo to sell more VC games, but even so these games are masterpieces and are deffinitely worth purchasing. Unlocking the Masterpieces will be great! Especially the ones that we haven't been told about. I'm sure there will be a demo for a Sonic game, so which one will they choose? And will there be a Masterpiece for every game series that's represented in Brawl? Probably not because of characters like Olimar that don't have games older than the GameCube era, but even so I wonder if there's a demo from a Metal Gear Solid in there? Edit: Even more to think about is how will you play these demos? Remember that out of the games that were listed the NES games are the only ones that let you use just the Wii remote, so will playing these demos require a GCN or Classic controller like the VC games do? |
