Wonder if 3rd parties are just simply left out? Or even perhaps they'll be unlocked once the characters unlocked? Unlikely, but still a thought. |

Ah, so now the dojo is a center for spoilz, just not as massive as other sites. I think its pretty cool they're going to use it as a sorta of guide. So I assume they'll tell us HOW to unlock some things? |

Yes, this is really cool. I don't want everything spoiled for me though... And I guess we'll have to wait for the first secret character to be revealed to find out if he tells how to unlock. Something I noticed in the video was you unlock sets of parts to use in the stage builder. I don't remember that being mentioned before |

I don't either, but if it does infact tell us how to unlock stuff then sales on the strategy guide will probably lower XD. |

I know I shouldn't be the least bit surprised, but there is a strategy guide? I don't remember ever seeing one for Melee |

It's scheduled to be released the same day as Brawl. It was suppossed to be released earlier, but it was rumored Nintendo wanted to avoid rumors. . .but uh. . .YEAAAAAH XD. |

The first update of the Dojo's new purpose is a secret fighter as they call them. They've taken care to make sure no one accidentally spoils the game for themselves by going to the Dojo, so don't worry Einar. They also give information on how to unlock them. I don't see us needing a player's guide or GameFaqs for Brawl, only patience. :eggman: |

Yes this is awesome, I love how they set it up to ask "Are you sure you want to proceed to see this spoiler?" And then even when you look at it you don't have to worry about spoiling how to unlock it because you have to click the button to see how to unlock. Since everyone already knows about Ness I'll go ahead and talk about the update here, but for future updates on secret characters and hidden stuff we should probably make a separate thread for talking about those. So to me the update itself was great because it explains how Ness is different from Lucas. Everyone is all worried about the clones, well to me there really aren't any clones if the differences of Ness and Lucas can prove true for all the characters. Several of Ness and Lucas' moves are quite similar, but they deffinitely aren't the same and require you to know the differences in order to master each character (unlike in Melee where if you're good with Fox then you should automatically be good with Falco). Everyone knows Ness' moves because this'll be his third time in Smash Bros and none of them have really changed. Lucas' PK Thunder doesn't just move faster and more responsively, the Dojo says that you can't hit opponents with it (aww), but rather you have to use it to fire Lucas into opponents and when this is done successfully he does multiple hits on the opponent. If you can succeed at doing this with Ness' PK Thunder it will land one strong attack on the opponent. Lucas' PK Thunder is easier to control so it should be easier to use as a recovery move than it is and has been for Ness. Erm... Sorry I got carried away, you could've just read that at the Dojo. The Dojo continues to tell about other differences for other moves and their Final Smash is similar but slightly different. |
