(why have we reverted to just posting in this thread?) I got tired of studying so I did this: Posted Image

You should have no trouble recognizing what the ordering is. Sonic and Snake are out of place just to fill space until more characters are announced, and if you caught on Zero Suit Samus and Sheik shouldn't even have their own spots

And I guess all of the characters won't be announced before the game comes out here because if I counted correctly there's 7 more characters and only 9 more days of updates until the game comes out here. So even after we have the game we'll still be checking the daily updates (maybe not all of us will, but we could). I wonder if they'll keep going until Europe gets the game?

Well in regards to today's update which other characters still haven't gotten the special move treatment? I clicked around and saw that from the veterans Peach, Donkey Kong, and Sheik still have special move updates coming. I think all the newcomers have had their special move updates already and the secret characters have just had tips explaining lots of their moves.

I might continue checking the updates, but now I can just use Gamefaqs and stuff over the weekend of its release to fill up anything I may need in regards of stages and characters. Though I may still check for any interesting tid bits, such as extra tips, look at the pretty pictures, ect :p. Although as I usually check updates at 5 AM, there is also a chance I still will considering, what better thing do I have to do at 5 AM on the interwebz?

GameFaqs is great, I use GameFaqs a lot, but if there's something I don't know how to do or obtain in Brawl I'd personally rather just eventually figure it out or be surprised by it by playing rather than checking GameFaqs at least for the first few weeks. Back to our heated discussion about how easy it is to unlock characters and stages it'd be harder to unlock them if you don't use GameFaqs or a player's guide or anything else like that.

Well yeah it'd be harder, w/o the use of updates or a guide, that's kinda obvious :p.

Right, so if you want that to feel harder or want it to take you longer then in this case don't use GameFaqs or a guide. On the other hand if you want to unlock all the characters quickly then GameFaqs will be there for you.

Though if you're going to over due Brawl, it won't really matter if you have a guide or not for many characters since you'll be doing so many matches :p.

Yeah, if I remember correctly you'd only have to play 400 matches to get all the characters which is less than half of the 1,000 matches it would take in Melee

To me today's update really reemphasizes that the Subspace Emissary is a full 1p or co-op adventure game in itself, as if I'd forgotten how much there is to it. And only 7 more updates before the game's US release! (and still 7 more secret characters, I seriously doubt they'd give us a secret character every day 'til release. For that matter they'll probably only give updates for 2 or 3 more characters before we get the game)

The only part I really enjoyed about the update was the orange items, made me think of Orange Boxes XD.
