I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.

The cult following thinks otherwise. I'm not an F-Zero fan, so I don't know what F-Zero-related things could be added... |

It's a cult following. Exactly. Why add more characters from a game not very many people like? F-Zero has a cult following, too, but they appear on more systems. Honestly, I just want to see more series included...there are a few Nintendo franchises that need to be picked up on. |

We're a large cult.
:p I'm not sure about a new series. They've pretty much touched upon every major one. |

How many people like Mario? And Pokemon, Zelda, Metroid, Star Fox, ...even Animal Crossing? How many people like Earthbound? That's all I'm saying. Nintendo has yet to cash in on two of its more recent franchises...Pikmin and Animal Crossing. Pikmin was mildly successful(and has potential for a character, some argue) and Animal Crossing was wildly successful(though I don't know how they could incorporate it into the game!). Let's never forget Custom Robo, Advance Wars, and Densetsu No Stafy. Those games don't have a "representative", and I think they should. Fire Emblem has also changed a lot since we first had our encounters with Roy and Marth back in 2001. I don't know how it will affect Brawl, if any. |

Just because something has a cult following doesn't mean it's small. Red Dwarf(a Britcom) has a cult status, yet its Series 8 had over 8 million viewers. I'm no expert but thats a lot of viewers for many shows. But thats a TV show so now I'm basically comparing oranges to apples. Although seeing some Animal Crossing characters would be cool, perhaps Tom Nook? Or maybe some generic humans He/She could use items the player would regularly use. Wouldn't it fun to beat the crap out of Link w/ a shovel? Or shoot Fox with a slingshot? Or protect shots from Snake w/ an umbrella? Also I think Custom Robo characters would be pretty neat, never actually played a game but I've been fascinated with the series(I'm hoping to play the DS one real soon) >_>. |

Exactly. Kid Icarus has a cult following and only one or two games and -what do know- Pit's the second new character introduced. While Animal Crossing is one of the last series that come to mind when thinking of new characters Smash Bros., that'd be a funny move set. As for Pikmin, Captain Olimar is the size of a quarter...not much of a fighter either. Custom Robo, however, would be nice. I just of Birdo being in this, but what would her Final Smash be...? |

Good point, but Earthbound already has one character. . .but I still think it wouldn't hurt to add more, more characters NEVER hurt anything, and honestly no one should complain about new characters because they make the game more diverse for the player's want, BUT I do agree that some sort of selection is needed when it comes to franchises. Amd as for Birdo, I thought of something cool, maybe her uhm "nose" or w/e that thing is called, opens up really big and shoots out a huge egg that basically strikes throughout the stage. |

Captain Olimar may be the size of a quarter, but Kirby's size was increased too, wasn't it? Also, Kid Icarus has a cult following. Pit is one character. Earthbound has a cult following. Ness is one character. Olimar would be totally doable. And I'm pretty sure Ganondorf, DK, and Bowser should be bigger... |

I think Ganondorf is the right size, although maybe he should be bigger, if so not too much I wouldn't think. Can't say for DK, but for Bowser, he changes sizes often so it's hard to tell how big he SHOULD be. |

I really need to stand Link and Ganondorf next to eachother in SSBM...I feel like Ganondorf should be taller in the games, anyways. I know he's more muscular than Link, at least... |
