The GoNintendo article regarding this issue pointed out that the 3rd party titles were published/owned by Nintendo, just worked on by 3rd parties.

Oh and on a side note, this is kinda(maybe even really old) but I'd just like to point something out. At Wal Mart they have 2000 point cards with controller skins, and classic controllers with skins for $20. I've seen these for a while now, but for those who buy point cards and don't have a skin, it's a good buy :p. Probably for Wii Ware, if cash permits I'll buy one.

Anyone want to take a stab at why Nintendo hasn't released any third party 64 games?

Seriously, what's the deal? Did you find some insight on that? There has been much speculation about this, but I want to know the real reason. Although to be honest most of the N64 games I want on VC are owned by Nintendo, but there are deffinitely some 3rd party ones that I'd love to have too! Lots of people would love it if Golden Eye was released, and Banjo-Kazooie and it's sequel, but at least we do have some idea about Rare. How can the DK Country games be released on VC and N64 Rare games can't? For companies that already have games from other systems on the VC what's the hold up? I want Bomberman and Mega Man 64!

Four words: Conker's Bad Fur Day. I want that game sooo bad! I never found the sequel, anywhere!
I never really felt needed or even wanted here, but I still do come back from time to time. If you want to speak to me for whatever reason, you may add me on Skype. My Skype name is revon.migouru and as long as you tell me who you are in the friend request, I will add you.

That one would be even more unlikely then a 3rd party title =\(Conker couldn't even be in Diddy Kong Racing DS X_X)

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
I don't really like Dr. Mario too much. If I had a Wii, I'd get Defend Your Castle and LostWinds. (Maybe Pokémon Ranch, since you can get Mew and Phione from it)

I've been reading other people's thoughts about this on the internet and all it's really done is remind me of more games that I want XD

Thats probably because they never made a sequel to Conkers BFD. The one that came out on Xbox was a remake with I think 1 extra stage though I could be wrong on that.

Though to be fair the multi player mode served as somewhat a sequel. Taking place after the game with some characters returning.

Interesting fact, in the Xbox version Conker was originally going to kill himself at the end. But they decided to keep him alive to keep the door open for a sequel HOWEVER they do plan to kill him in the sequel so they can make a new protagonist.

I never played the original but I think some dialogue is changed. And the ironic part is the Xbox version is more censored than the N64(and they call NIntendo kiddy :p).

Mega Man 64 wasn't very good, just play Legends on PSX because they're the same game.

Yes, I've heard these things a lot, the reason I want it is just for the opportunity to see for myself and create my own opinion for it (and I've never owned a PSX)

Well I really liked the Mega Man Legend series. I've played both Mega Man Legends and Mega Man 64, and I don't think there are any differences. Though it was a few years in between playing each game. I hear a lot of people say they don't like it, but I enjoyed it.
