Well well well, what a pleasant surprise, Nintendo Channel launched early! I got school, so the only stuff I've checked so far is: Rock Band trailer, Ninja gaiden demo, and Trauma Center 2 video. |

Yeah, I've got work in less than an hour but I've already checked out a lot of the channel and sent all the little recommendation things I was eligible for. I'll try out some more DS demos and watch some more videos when I get home. I wonder how often they'll add/change the DS demo selection. Was that ever said anywhere? |

Awesome, I can't wait to check it out, unfortunately there's not enough games that I'm willing to delete in order to download it :p. Playing DS Demos in your own home should be much more convenient than downloading them in a store since you'll be able to take the time to check em out without being rushed or bugged by people around you. Are there any Wii game demos yet? |

Well the blue light on the Wii woke me up at 3 AM again last night, and I thought it was going to be something silly, but the Nintendo channel is something I've wanted since launch. I hope they get some Wii demos on there soon. I put in a few recommendations for Metroid Prime 3, Mario Kart Wii, and Smash Bros. I'll definitely do some more later. I took a quick look at the DS demos they have offered. I think they have Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword demo available and I wanted to check that out. I also checked out the Atlus games section, saw a few videos and was pleased. Overall, I think it's a great channel and I hope it gets updated often with new things. |

Yeah, it might be a dud if it isn't updated often, but I'm sure it will be. And so far I'm loving the demos. I finally got a chance to try out Jam Sessions and it's good enough to buy(eventually). I mean in my own opinion of course :p. Checked out Ninja gaiden like I said earlier, and now I'm going to check out Rayman and Cooking mama 2. And yeah hopefully they can add Wii Demos soon. They'd be relatively spacious though wouldn't they? |

Oh and another new thing. According to the Wiiware video on the new channel, Dr. Mario was finally OFFICIALLY announced for launch(we all expected it, but if you actually checked around, no one had an official launch date, closest was 1Up's 5/15/08). It has also gone through a name change for the US launch. It's now called Dr. Mario Online RX. |

I've also noticed a few titles are missing from the Nintendo Channel. They let you recommend titles you have played for over an hour, but games like No More Heroes, Resident Evil 4, Zack & Wiki, Okami, and quite a few other of my favorites aren't there. Maybe they'll update the list later, or I don't know. I think all Nintendo games are there, and I was able to recommend some Sega and Square-Enix titles. Though when I searched under Ubisoft for No More Heroes, it wasn't there. I couldn't find it when typing it in either. Oh well. Oh, and I tried out Ninja Gaiden and it plays much better than I thought it would. The new DS Download section is my favorite part of the channel. |
