You know what I was thinking earlier today? With Chrono Trigger getting ported to DS, something clicked. The only reason we arn't getting a same treatment with Mario RPG (a port or a remake) is because Nintendo and Square couldn't agree on how to split the money... I just think thats kinda funny. I am happy we are getting it on the VC but man I would love a portable version of the game. |

Yeah Square Enix said a while ago (paraphrasing) "We keep lucrative franchises off the VC", therefore, since they can't make money off of SMRPG, being owned by multiple companies, they don't want to be bothered. Also hence why we don't see games like CT or FF's, or Dragon Quests on the VC, simply because SE can keep rehashing them, AND get away with it. |

Its a real shame too. That a remake of Mario RPG has LOADS of potential such as adding Luigi as a party member or even making a "New Game+" mode where you play as Luigi instead of mario with different stats and character interactions. |

Seriously, but I'll probably download it provided that it really is released. I wonder which VC games will make the cut? |

Well what about all those games that were supposed to be released last week and weren't? There's really no telling what will come out  , but it sure would be nice to see Mega Man or those other two games that were announced for last week |
