So we get...

Strong Bad
Break In
and Star Parodier

Nintendo Press

Did we predict it? What happened to Mega Man? Oh well...

I bet we won't get any mega man till next month and it will be a "month of mega man" thing. >_>

Mega Man has fallen into the chasm in lostness. . . I'm more concerned about Ys though :(.

I downloaded Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People Episode One: Homestar Ruiner (believe me, the ridiculously long names for stuff don't end with the game title). I can probably thank Dragon for getting me interested in the series and I think I've watched most all the toons and played all the games so far. I recommend for anyone halfway interested to brush up on their Homestar knowledge and watch some toons so they can pick up on all the references. It's a point and click adventure for anyone who may not know, and the transition from Internet Flash cartoon to Wiiware game is ... well, non-exisistent. It's not some game based on the cartoon, it feels like it really is the cartoon. It's great! There seems to be a lot to do, too. Well worth the 1,000 points IMO, provided you've watched the Flash cartoon. And most importantly, it's pretty funny. ^_^

I kinda disagree with the price tag, I think $10 is a bit much for an episodic game(since that $10 is going to start adding up). If I do decide to get into the series though, I'm just going to wait till more eps come out, waiting always kills me =P, especially since it's only a couple hours long.

EDIT: Zeether this is straight from IGN's reviews:

"If you're totally lost so far, you're on the right track – because Star Parodier is an intentionally off-the-wall parody game that makes itself as hard to understand as possible, on purpose, for the sake of good old satire. Its power to make you scratch your head in stupefied confusion is further supported by the fact that it's all in Japanese, too. This is one of the VC's Import category releases, and it remains untranslated and untouched from its original overseas PC-Engine edition."

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
I actually haven't kept up with Homestar Runner in months. I'm not completely sure if I'll download the game, but I probably will.

My PC's not good for gaming outside of ROMs.

You can download a demo of the PC version too off the game's site (you'd know whether it'd work on your PC or not). I beat it but have several little accomplishments to finish. The story took about five or six hours with me casually exploring nearly everything and being a little too dense or not creative enough (in StrongBad's fiendishly awesome way) to do it sooner. XD I think it was well worth the 1,000 points and anxiously await the next episode.
