FINALLY! So they waited to make Super Mario RPG the 250th VC game. I hope this doesn't mean we have to wait for more big intervals of 50 or 100 for other great Nintendo games, but I wouldn't put it past them. Watch Earthbound be #500 or something. Anyway, enough complaining. One of the greatest games of all time has finally returned! As soon as I got home from work around 1:30PM I bought me up $10 worth of points and downloaded it right away. For anyone who may not know, despite never owning a Super Nintendo, I have played all the way through the game before when my cousin and I traded game systems and games for a little while to enjoy each other's games (her Super Nintendo for my Sega Genesis, although I wish my Sega had worked a little better for her, crazy thing). I played through Super Mario RPG, A Link to the Past, and I think Yoshi's Island. So now I finally have the game for myself and it's great! I've already played it way too much already! XD I'm a little over halfway through.

Anyway, enough about that. Who all here has never played the game before? I look forward to hearing some more of their impressions on it. :) Yeah, I love the game's graphics too, Metroid. It's also got great humorous dialogue and set many of the standards by which the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi series went by. And then there's the awesomeness ... of Geno.

I was quite surprised when I checked Wii Shop at about 12:05 PM on Labor Day and saw Super Mario RPG. Of course I downloaded it immediately and I've been playing it the last couple days. I hope we don't have to wait until 500 for Earthbound or 300 for the next VC game worth downloading, that'd just be stupid. Since Japan is getting Mario Golf hopefully we'll get it soon as well (it's been a long time since they've added an N64 game).

From what I hear Earthbound is not coming out for a long time...

Anyway, I hope you got the invisible chest in peachs castle. You know the one you have only ONE chance to get... Everyone misses that one the first play through

Aw crud, I know I missed it and it's not even my first play through (although it's seriously been a while). It's in the vault room, ain't it?

Actually it's in the long hallway at the entrance. When Toad asks you to go see the Chancellor, he'll run of and you have to jump on his head. When he gets to the door, you have to jump on top of the door. It'll be there.

Yeah... totally missed that, why didn't anyone tell me before? I even ran around randomly pressing A at the very beginning of the game (lol). It must be about time to make that thread.

An interview with Reggie confirms that Nintendo is NOT working on a hard drive for Wii, but they have "something better" planned. I hope it's USB support for our own hard drives >_>. AND(preferably not OR) allow us use our SD cards more freely. I wouldn't mind using just SD cards, but I can go through 2 GBs pretty easily, in fact, I probably already have more than 2 GBs worth of games and saves. . .

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
Can you load game files from SD cards?

Also, where did you hear this?

You can copy games to and from the SD card, but Nintendo got cheap and bought like the crappiest card reader for the Wii so it takes a while, you can't load games via the SD card. And it was from a Club Nintendo interview(posted on GoNIntendo).
