Wow, MP2 is already number 3 in the top 20 most popular VC titles. I hope this encourages Nintendo to get MP3 out sooner. (Assuming they're not having issues emulating it)

Since when did Nintendo have a Player's Choice type line up for Wii in Japan?

Most games drop in price a month after release here anyhow and Nintendo sells too many copies of their own games to feel the need to lower the price.

Here's more info on the topic.

And I was wrong, its just about to become a year old.

Nintendo's had the budget priced re-releases for a while. Other games include Arc Rise Fantasia and One Piece: Unlimited Cruise - Ep. 1. Don't know the full list, but there may be other titles. Other developers like Capcom and EA have their own line of budget re-releases in Japan. Why Nintendo hasn't done this for America is a mystery. Why we haven't seen One Piece: Unlimited Cruise in America is a travesty.

Edit: Whoa, you guys had an entire conversation while I was making my post. I am so slow...

From what I hear the One Piece Wii games are being remade and bundled for 3DS, so hopefully that comes out in America!

EDIT: Well more of a port, but still.

Apparently they do sell well enough, they still sell first-party games from 2006 and 2007 for $50 here. It would've been nice to have a Player's Choice thing here anyway, but whatever.

EDIT: I'm guessing Unlimited Adventure didn't sell well. It also seems to have become rare, since it goes for a lot online. I wanted to try it out, though I probably wouldn't have bought it. What I want is a (good) new OP fighting game.

Animales de la Muerte hitting PSN, XBLA, and Steam instead of Wiiware.

Kind of disappointing, but oh well, I'll just get it on Steam.
