This may be why it took so long for another N64 game to appear in the console and it opened my eyes to a problem...
"But the situation speaks to the reality of the Nintendo 64's presence on the Virtual Console so far, giving some insight into why this is only the second title from the system to arrive after over two months have passed since the Wii system launch – the N64 games have problems when emulated, and so far there isn't any effort going into correcting those problems."-IGN's MK64 review
Remember that some N64 games needed a memory pak plugged into the controller to save data. :worried:

Thanks! After reading the review I'm kinda disapointed that they didn't go back and change it. I mean no big deal but still. . .I wonder if any other games will be affected along the way?

Well, Rayman needed a memory pak to save. Not to mention the Pokémon Stadium games needed that Transfer Pak to upload your Pokémon.

Well I doubt we'll see Pokemon Stadium but for games that require a pak for saving they'll have to work it out. Or else there would be little point in using it at all. I mean I can deal without rumble but saving is something that shouldn't be left out. Even if it was just for ghosts in this case.

Well I doubt they'll make a periphial to be able to transfer Pokemon. So the game wouldn't be nearly as good without your own Pokemon. They might, but IF they do it just won't be as good w/o my own team there.
