Shadow. He's not sure if he wants the SNES or DS version. I recommended the DS version despite it being more expensive. |

I'd recommend the DS version too, its pretty cheap too(sure not as cheap as the VC version) but it can still be found new for like $15 in a few stores. |

I'd been wanting to get it ever since it was announced for the DS, but I guess it was never top priority 'cause now I still don't have it |

Nintendo Selects are now out and the Wii is $150. Once again I'm tempted by Animal Crossing but if I'm getting one again I should wait for the 3DS one. |

BIT. TRIP collection coming to Wii as well If there's no significant differences between the 3DS and Wii versions, I'd go for the 3DS version. |

Yeah I'm going for 3DS simply just for the 3D affect. I read the article and saw this: "The console compilation will have an art gallery, video gallery, and audio gallery, plus a special text message/commentary from creator Alex Neuse of Gaijin Games on each of the titles. " and then immediately afterwards(in the same paragraph) it says: "More importantly, there will be new difficulty levels for each game. The biggest addition is a set of 120 new challenge levels, made up of 20 for each of the six games in the set. These will demand absolute perfection from the player, but they are kept short (possibly very short) to avoid frustration." Is the second block of text in both versions or Wii only? All things considered I think I'll still go with 3DS, but the challenge levels sound interesting. Edited by Hyper Metal Sonic, Jun 10 2011, 02:09 PM.

Have any of you heard/been following Operation Rainfall? Apparently, its a fan project where people are trying to convince Nintendo of America to localize and/or release some of the JRPG's and other games that Japan and Europe are getting that include(but not limited to) Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, and Pandora's Tower. The movement has gone so far as to pummel Nintendo's Facebook and Youtube pages with questions/comments/remarks on the games and how we want to see them in North America. A few E3's ago Xenoblade was made available to preorder on Amazon after its announcement(back when it was being called Monado), its still there. People have begun preordering the game in massive numbers and the game has climbed the charts to be the #1 selling video game on Amazon currently. Though it is believed that many people have pre-ordered multiple copies so its not really all that accurate. http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/videogames/ref=pd_dp_ts_vg_1 All of this has also reached the developers at Mistwalker and Monolith and they seem to be in full support. There have been plenty of articles regarding this situation so if you haven't heard about it yet I'll just post the Wiki article which will have plenty of info and sources for you. Operation Rainfall's Wiki All three of those games look pretty cool in my book, and I'd buy them all if they were released in America. How about you guys? I'm considering preordering Monado to show support. Though I'm not going to go crazy, I'll just put down one. |

Yeah, I've been following it. I actually pre-ordered Monado as well. I really didn't expect it to get to #1 on Amazon. |

From Nintendo's facebook: Thank you for your enthusiasm. We promised an update, so here it is. We never say “never,” but we can confirm that there are no plans to bring these three games to the Americas at this time. Thanks so much for your passion, and for being such great fans! Kinda sad, though like they said, never say never. It'd take more than two days to kick a localization in production. If anything, this certainly got their attention. |
