Does anyone have Super Mario Bros. for VC? How do you save your data on it?

You can't. These are stright ports of the originals. In the original game you could not save, thus you can't in the VC version. If you use the home button to return to the Wii Menu while playin the game, it will save where you are.

Yeah, just like save states on emulators XD
Just make sure you PAUSE first so you don't start it and immediately have the game start from where it's saved, it may screw you up a bit.

Maybe that's what those prongs on the back of the Classic Controller are for?
Well from what I hear, they were there to attach the Wiimote, but they decided to trash that idea at the last moment so they stayed on. Although that doesn't mean they won't come up with a new use for it :D.
I do hope they have some sort of use for that... or just make a new wireless classic controller that has rumble built in. As for the WaveBirds, I have two, but I prefer using corded controllers most of the time because of the rumble, whenever I play something where rumble really doesn't matter I like to use the wavebirds. Y'know, that's another thing they should make, in order to keep everything for Wii wireless they should make a new slimmer wavebird that does have rumble and it can be Wii white. I really wish they would XD
That's some pretty good ideas! Only downside IMO is that I'd have to buy a new controller :p. Although I don't know if I would just for rumble. . .maybe when I get a new Wiimote it'd be worth it, but since for the time being I only have one XD.
Oh yeah, maybe you can get Wii play to get another controller (you deffinitely need one, Wii is made for multiplayer!). In fact, Wii Play comes out this week... on Valentine's day
^_^

Not that I don't think it'd be a nice time killer and nice to have an extra Wiimote but for the time being I'm going to pass, and wait till March to get Sonic and the Secret Rings :D. Will Wii Play always come with a remote or just for a limited time only?

We don't know yet. I think it'd be a good idea for them to release it as a $20 game w/o the controller

Well I'm like most people and only want the game for the Wiimote :p. Although I'm sure it'll be a very fun game without a free remote XD.

I dunno. The reviews don't seem very good in the areas where it's already out. I'll probably pass on Wii Play for now (I don't really need the Remote since I already have two of them).

Well I'm not one to dwell judgement on a review. If I listened to reviews theres some good games IMO that I coulda missed out on.
