Koopa the Quick!

Yeah I know it isn't as great, but I'm still open minded about it and would like to try it out. |

Holy crap guys. I just played S&P and Gate of Thunder and they BOTH rock. S&P's controls took some getting used to but the Type 3 controls are good. I like the design and graphics. The training guide looks like a Chain Chomp :eggman: Also it has a very high scoring system involving shooting down tons of enemies and getting time bonuses. "Get bonus!" XD The voice acting is great, it sounds kinda monotone but it's surprising for a Japanese game to have English voices! Plus the characters look cool. I hope Treasure makes a sequel because it is amazing. Gate of Thunder is ROCKING. Music and gameplay wise. I love the Asteroid and Crown stage tunes especially :w00t: It's somewhat easy once you get the stage layouts and enemy placement down (though I've only played it once, I've watched videos of it) You get some really powerful weapons, I HIGHLY recommend the red Earthquake one as it defeats bosses FAST and easily. The first boss is easy too, just stay in front of its core and never let your finger off the fire button. I died several times though due to stupidity (ran into a plane in the beginning > < ) but the game's great. Plus it even duplicates the PC-Engine CD startup screen (yes, PC-Engine, I guess it was the same for both systems?) The shield's got a weird name too: "Hyper Cocoon." 0_o Whew! Got tired typing all that. |

Ninja JaJaMaru-kun looks pretty cool. And Golden Axe is awesome, but again, as with most Genesis titles, you're better off buying a collection and getting more bang for your buck. |

The Wii owners of the board should do a game exchange for Christmas. :eggman: |
