I am not going to argue that either unit was a failure. Bottom line as I said, he only plays bad games to form his review. Which is obviously what he does for his "show" thats fine on a game by game basis. BUT when one is reviewing something as broad as a game system regardless of the number of games does not mean its completely bad because one never played any the good titles. Which is what he basically does in his reveiws of the units. Now let me ask you a question, how is AVGN funny? PS- If you are gonna say "he's over the top" elaborate please. |

Well the Sega CD wasn't exactly "broad". Again, the Sega CD had mostly shovelware and FMV games in its small library, which he played plenty of. If one doesn't like those kind of games then they won't think very highly of that system will they? Plus, whether or not a system had any "good" titles is one's opinion. Honestly, it seems like you're criticizing him for having an opinion. (And he actually liked a few SCD games, like Sol Feace.) Why do I like him? I think he's funny, simple as that. I like how over-the-top he is in his reviews, like cloning himself, having the clones get killed by Freddy Krueger, then battling him with the Power Glove. Cutting a VHS tape of on TMNT III in half with a katana, beating up a guy in a Bugs Bunny costume(And giving him a Shoryuken.)...it goes on. |

Oh man :o , I dunno, but it doesn't look good :/ I agree with DryBones about the AVGN that it's more of a show to be funny than real reviews. I do think some of AVGN that I've seen is funny, but I'd rather not tolerate the language :p . Guess I'll have to watch the AVGN episode in question and see for myself how he wronged the Sega 32X and Sega CD (Knuckles Chaotix and Sonic CD anyone? :knuckles: ;) ) |

Sonic CD was a very good game, but one game doesn't justify how good a system is. Sorta like the PS3, not a fan, and in my opinion there really are only 2 or 3 games that interest. Thus not warranting it not worth the effort. However PS3 will get better titles and I'll probably own one soon, CD and 32x didn't have ENOUGH good games for everybody. But see thats the thing with reviews, its OPINIONS, the AVGN presented his review with good reasons. But others just may find the 32X and CD good add-ons/consoles w/e u want to call them. Me personally? I wouldn't waste money on them, the only titles I'd like is Sonic CD and Knuckles like Gamma stated. However CD is already in a collection, and I don't really want Chaotix THAT much. But thats sorta beside the point. I just hope this simple arguement didn't elevate so much that it caused DBZ to leave(No idea why it would but still bad timing 'eh?). |

It wouldn't be way beyond if we had Sega CD and 32X on the VC XD. |

The Nerd does make a point about those Sega add-ons: they did have lots of bad games. So most of the games he talked about are ones that we don't want added on VC, but it would be nice to have the good games available for download. And thankfully the AGVN doesn't even own a Saturn; I'd really like to see some Saturn games added to VC. |

The only Saturn game I can currently think of right now I'd want is Resident Evil and NiGHTS. However I"m sure if I looked at a list I could find one that I just forgot about :p. Or find some new ones I never heard of or something. |

Actually he has four Saturns now. I think a fan (or fans) sent them. The only Sega CD game I'd like to see is Sonic CD. I can't really think of anything else that would go good on there... I don't even know what the Saturn had...though apparently Japan got a bunch of good games for it so if we do get the Saturn we can probably expect a lot of import titles. |
