So I decided it's been years since I last built any LEGO toys and I figured why not try some of those cool Star Wars LEGOs. Back in my youth, it would take me forever to build a big set. So I figure now that I am older, wiser, and more patient, I should be able to do this in three hours.

Well, four days later, I am finally done.

It was actually really fun to build. When I was about 3/4 of the way through, I realized I made a mistake on step 3 and as a result the thing wouldn't fit together properly. I had to take the base apart which luckily wasn't as big of a deal as I thought it would be.

Well, now that this is done, I'm off to build Vader's Tie Advanced. Shouldn't take me too long, as it's about half the amount of pieces as the Death Star II.

Sweet, so I'm not the only one. I recently did the same thing and I meant to post about it but never did so thanks. I got the massive Imperial Star Destroyer:

It took me 3 whole days to build. And I too would like to get some of the smaller Collector's sets, but I can't afford to right now.

Oh man, that's awesome. I really wanted to get the Millenium Falcon, but that one's going for $500. A bit out of my price range, plus I no longer have any room for it.

I finished it yesterday. I really like this one. I think it might be my favorite ship, though I could be wrong.

Awesome! I'm fresh out of money so I won't be getting any more sets any time soon
