I went to the movies yesterday and saw Wall-E with my little sister, it was okay, not really spectacular though. While I was there I saw a stand-up board for Star Wars the Clone Wars. Now we all knew this movie was coming out this fall, but how soon? I was shocked because the board read "Coming August 15th." August 15th! I didn't think it would be so soon, but apparently it'll be out in just a few weeks! I wonder when the following TV Series will start? |

Someone else told me something like that too, I guess I just missed the boat on that one, but now I'm excited that it's so close |

Yeah, George Lucas isn't involved, which can either be good or bad. . .good obviously because less political discussion and moar light sabers! But bad because it could go in the wrong direction D:. I have confidence though, mostly because of the no politics part =D. |

Well I saw the movie, wasn't anything too special, it was better than Attack of the Clones and a little better than Phantom Menace. Over all, judging it as a movie based off a cartoon and it serving as a side story, rather than full fledged sequel gives it more credit. It basically had non-stop action which is probably the best part of it. Only spent the time necessary for talking, and a minimal of politics. The only weak point I could honestly say was the music was rather disapointing. The trailer had better music DX, it wasn't that bad though, just not as good as John Williams of course. Over all, if you're a fan of Star Wars, especially classic Star Wars, this is a fun film to see. I also guess another negative factor was the light saber battles. They weren't as exciting as they could be, and they didn't really have the defining "epic" battle, just quick spur of the moment clashes with a sith lord here and there. |

I also saw the film and I can't see how you'd say it was better than actual Star Wars movies. It was pretty good, but nothing spectacular. The biggest disappointment to me was the opening: the music was wrong and there was a dorky narrator instead of the scrolling introduction. There were some funny things in it, but also some corny humor where they were just trying too hard to be funny. Overall it's worth going to see as long as you keep in mind that it's an animated movie that wasn't written or directed by George Lucas himself. |

The Phantom Menace was alright, and Attack of the CLones was just awful. I liked the intro because it reminded me of Starship Troopers. Ahsoka was a pretty annoying character too though, not near as bad as Jar jar or Anakin as a child though XD. |

Yeah, Ashoka is reckless like Anakin so putting the two together doesn't seem like a good idea. She's alright, but I can't stand her stupid nicknames that she calls people ("Sky Guy" , "R-tooie"); Anakin is not a Shy Guy! Posted Image |
