The DVD version of Dragon's video game thread :3. I almost named it exactly the same, just replacing Video Game with DVD, but I thought that'd be a little TOO much :p. Anyhoo, I've recently been bulking up on my way over due Garfield collection. Target had Garfield and Friends Volumes 4 and 5 for $7.50, I obviously couldn't pass those up! Now ironically I'm missing Volumes 1 and 2 XD. I got three ages ago at Gamestop DX. And today I saw Garfileld's Fantasies for $4 at Big Lots. Annnnnnnd a couple days ago I was at Hot Topic and they were having a sale, Nirvana T-Shirt+DVD for $25 so I couldn't pass that up! |

I bought Batman: The Animated Series volumes 1-3 a few weeks back. Good stuff. I don't buy DVDs very often. I don't know what the next thing I will buy will be. May be a while. |

;) I've been building my DVD collection some recently with only the best. I already got all the Garfield DVDs as they came out and I paid a lot more for 4 and 5 mind you, good luck finding 1 and 2. The Batman Animated Series sets sound great, I used to love watching it and had a few of the VHS tapes of it. My recent DVD purchases are Transformers, Ghostbusters 1 & 2 set, the Jurassic Park Trilogy, and Short Circuit. Next I want to get the Spiderman Trilogy and the first Pirates of the Carribean, but that may be a while 'cause I can't afford to buy anything right now |

I don't really buy DVDs that much, actually. TiVo rawks. ^_^ I think my last purchase was Family Guy Seasons 1 & 2 a few months ago. |

Only the best Gamma? Don't you own Sonic X? Kidding :p. But anyway, thanks for the luck, on Amazon and Half they're only about $15 to $10 each, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem, shame I can't find them for $7.50 though XD. . .I should check Target's website actually. . .o.O. BRAIN BLAST! |

DVDs are a bit more expensive than games, in my opinion. Well, they cost less, but I get considerably more mileage with a video game than I get with a DVD. That said, I rarely buy my own DVDs. Even though I'll be going to college next month, I'm still living at home and I can get my parents to buy the occasional DVD for me. I'll count those, I s'pose. I didn't buy them, but they're ones I would have if I had the money. Unfortunately, I failed to get a summer job. The last DVDs I received as gifts are... -Criminal Minds: Season 2 -Criminal Minds: Season 1 My father won season 2 on the radio a year ago and I said I wouldn't watch it since it wasn't CSI. Only, after taking a Forensics class in high school last spring, I decided I liked the show. We watched a few episodes in class since it was super amazing and had better characters. I plan on getting Season 3 next month. -The Closer/Saving Grace (1 episode each) It's a promo DVD I got in the mail. I like The Closer. I don't plan on watching the Saving Grace episode... The last movie DVD I purchased/received might have been Juno back in March...but I'm not really sure. |
