I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
There are some 3DS rumors going around, notably that Monster Hunter 3 for 3DS will be revealed next month at TGS.

Monster Hunter 3, you say? Would that be a port of the Wii game then? There's supposed to be a 3DS event in Japan Sept. 13. A really big title is supposed to be announced then. What could it be? Monster Hunter is a big game in Japan. Though I'm guessing it'll be a first-party title they announce.

If I remember the rumor correctly, yeah, it's a port of the Wii game with extra stuff.

The list of NES ambassador games have been posted for Japan and Europe, chances are it'll be the same for us, with just name variations.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Not bad, I was kind of hoping for Kid Icarus, but the list is solid.

Dang, Kid Icarus would've been good. Well, at least I never got NES Open Tournament Golf. Add it to Ice Climber, Balloon Fight, and Donkey Kong Jr. The rest I own on Wii Virtual Console. I wonder if Metroid being on there lessens our chances of Zero Mission being one of the GBA games. I'm still hoping for it and Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland.

Yeah I'm not counting on Zero Mission at this point now.

Also, NOA's Twitter just confirmed the list for us as well.

And luckily I only have 4 games on the list.

I have played most of the games on the list, but it'll be nice to own some of them for the first time.

Now that I think about it, I don't think Zero Mission was even a possibility, since you can unlock the original Metroid in it. Nintendo doesn't seem to like giving us multiple games for the price of one. (For downloads anyway, hence why All-Stars never hit VC)

That is a valid point.

Though is it available in Metroid Prime for Wii?

They could always just lock that feature out should they feel compelled to (though at this point it'd be redundant since we're getting Metroid for free and at this point only Ambassador's would get Zero Mission).

I'm pretty sure I've read that it isn't, but I don't see anything saying that it's not in Trilogy.
