That's awesome, I just ordered the game from amazon, it's got release date shipping so I went for it.
Awesome indeed! I might do the same, but no rush since there's still a while before the game comes out. Do you know if those who pre-order will get the download code early or not until the 3DS game comes out?

Nintendo Network replacing NWFC? I guess that's jumping to conclusions but I can't think of anything else "Nintendo Network" being where the WFC logo normally is would mean.

Makes perfect sense. Though there's been plenty of 3DS games with online already, perhaps this has something to do with DLC?

That final fantasy title seems like the perfect game for DLC.

EDIT: This article seems to indicate the game will have paid DLC. Makes me wonder even more if that's going to turn into an XBLA/PSN type deal or if it is just for DLC games. (though just putting "Nintendo Network" and not something like the orange NWFC logo seems odd for games that feature paid content)

A lot of info was released during Nintendo's Investors meeting last night.

For example, we'll eventually get downloadable retail games on the 3DS eventually. Nintendo Network will allow user accounts on the Wii U, and a 2D Mario is in development for the 3DS, to be released in the next fiscal year. Though no footage, screens, or logos are available yet.

Downloadable retail on 3DS? I think these games are like 2GB in size. Bigger games like RE and MGS use the 4GB cards. Looks I got to go buy a 32 GB SD card soon. This is all very good news though. New 2d Mario for 3DS? Could it be a New SMB game, or maybe something different?

User accounts is something that should have been done years ago.

More details on what HMS posted

About time we got accounts. Now just announce that we'll be able to transfer our Wii Shop licenses to the Wii U and I'll be even more happy.

Yeah I was curious about that too. Some of these games are pretty large.

I mean, the PSP had downloadable retail titles, did anyone ever take advantage of them? Were they practical at all?

Ace Attorney fans...we have Ace Attorney 5. No other info that I've seen, just the logo. I'm guessing it'll be a 3DS game.

Also, iOS will be getting HD versions of 1-3. No word if anything I've mentioned is getting localized of course...us not getting AAI2 and Level 5 being the ones pushing the AA and Layton crossover (and not Capcom) to be released outside of Japan has me worried. If Capcom announces international releases of AA5, I will pre-order a copy. Hopefully it won't require some big campaign like Xenoblade did.

EDIT: A bit more info on the iOS release. Apparently there's plans for an Android release as well, all three games will be in one pack and if you purchased the the previous iOS versions it'll be a free upgrade. This would be great if we get any of this!

That all sounds pretty good!

I still have yet to beat an AA game, I had the first one on iOS but never beat it before I sold it.

I wonder if it'll be an Apollo Justice or Phoenix Wright game? I would very much like to play as Phoenix again, but I guess it's not so important. It could be a new lawyer completely, but who knows at this point.
